I have an ecommerce dropshipping website hosted with bigcommerce that sells hat. I have got a guy who is interested in marketing my products if I got an affiliate program going. Is there a certain software that allows one to start an affiliate program in a jiffy? I am looking at this as a long term thing because I had a similar offer earlier as well. So, I am planning to try it. Any prior experience you have with any affiliate program software/tool/website?

I have been looking into this for my own website too. One solution that seems like the best to me is http://www.osiaffiliate.com/. I have not signed up yet though as I was hoping to find something cheaper still...

You could run some kind of private low scale program with some really primitive custom coded tracking.
