So I did some IM a year ago and then left it alone for a while. I currently have no website and no real means of promoting any online offer. I thought I'd just see what would happen if I tried to get onto a gambling affiliate site:
I went on a gambling affiliate program and signed up the basic info such as name. I confirmed my email which led me to a page that asked me to write down why I should join and my web site domains.
I just left it blank and closed the screen. My plan was to get my website up in a few days and reapply from this point in the application.
Now here's where I stop understanding what happened.
A couples days later out of the blue I received a newsletter as if I was a member.
Another few days pass and I still have no website. I remember about this gambling affiliate and decide to try logging in the site. I couldn't remember my pass or username so I emailed the aff manager. It didn't occur to me at the time that I shouldn't have even had an AM.
So he gives me a new pass, but then asks me about what I plan to be doing, how I plan to market my stuff, if I have any websites? I must have just had blanks in my profile where all this information should have been.
Before I reply to him I log in successfully for the first time.
I reply to my AM with some BS.
So there we are, I stumbled inside one of the largest gambling affiliate programs online.
Hopefully this might be some help to someone who is a bit of a chancer. If this helped you at all don't forget to give thanks
