Hi, I have made way more than $13.50 online before but it was not stable soa couple months ago i decided to take a different path into seo with adsense/affiliate selling. Well I am glad to say today that I have made my first money in seo using amazon affiliates. And I am going to scale up.

I get about 10-20 visitors on one article per day of which I get one or two link clicks. These clicks have a CTR of approx 44% though. I get 6% of whatever they buy on amazon through my aff link.

So the 13.50 I made was over the course of two weeks where i sold more than $200 worth of goods. I dropped in the links on my site and forgot about them for awhile so I checked my account the other day and this was a nice surprise!

Of course this isn't only a bragging thread- BHW has helped me a lot so I am willing to answer any questions you may have about this. Please ask away.

What kind of affiliate link did u use ? Widget ? Direct link or else ?
And what kind of web did u use ? Autoblog ? Auto-shop ? Or hand write content ?
Where are u now on SERP of your main keywords ?
How long is your "a while" ?
And u just drop-in link and wait for customer ?

Did you seo your website?(what tools did u use) or u did it by CL or similars?

I think that you got good rate, keep your SEO work, get more vistors and more profits

I used a straight text link, no banners or images.
I used a wordpress theme with all hand written unique content
Concerning SERPS I am on the front page for my main keyword (although not in top 3) and I have over 100 long tails keywords ranking.
My a while is a couple weeks
Yes just drop in link but you need traffic to start.

I did seo, you want unique content with a reasonable keyword density. Try to bold, italicize, or underline the keyword a couple times in your article. I also submitted to some article directory sites.

Do you also have pictures of the product (or directly associated to the product) linked to your amazon link in your articles? It can help add a few more clicks.

I personally like embedded text links with a call to action, since they will always be there regardless of whether or not the visitor has an ad blocker turned on.

I am using embedded text links but my pictures currently have no links on them. If I put links on all pictures in the article that would make 5 amazon links on my page and I don't think google would like that, would they?
