Where are they all going? Seems like BHW is censoring anything based on 7878 threads.
I saw yesterday someone asking where his ORM thread went and now that thread is gone.
Whats going on BHW?

They don't want to saturate the market... I suspect everything related to 7878's method is in jr vip section, where it belongs probably.

I wish they would at least tell us....

I don't know why they are deleting/moving those threads.
But I have bookmarked the original thread from 7878.
And used Google Cache and got the original content...lol
I am saving that to a notepad now, incase for a future reference

I was actually looking for that the other day. Figured it went to Jr VIP land. Good to know though.
Sigh good information disappears so fast. Wouldn't be holding out on us would you meathead?![]()

The internet is dynamic, things can change with the click of a button.
Back up EVERYTHING.

If it did move to Jr. VIP, then it'll certainly be worth the money for those of us who want to bump up our membership so we have access to 7878's information.
Nothing more frustrating then a lack of transparency. IT was removed and I know why.. but I can't say. WTF? Why tease us?
I admit, I am putting together my own ORM deal and I enjoyed reading what others were doing, seeing what works, what doesn't and I looked forward to reporting my outcomes, but now... I guess I can't or it will get pulled?
If someone would just come out and stay the truth about what has happened to the threads it would end a lot of this guessing and story telling. I guess I will just ask right up front...
Did the 7878 threads get moved to Jr VIP? If not, why were they removed exactly?
Are ORM threads getting deleted or moved?
Are all ORM threads going to see this same fate?
Is the 7878 method just a ruse by the dice manufacturers to increase sales in 2012? LOL ok that last one was a joke but I am serious about the transparency. I never understood why so much beating around the bush takes place.
Did the 7878 threads get moved to Jr VIP?
No
If not, why were they removed exactly?
The answer to that is not something that the site management wants to share as indicated by meathead's response.
You, I and most of all the other members are guests here and in that we are in someone else's house, we follow their rules and one rule is that they do not want to share the why.

Transparency? I forget, when exactly did the internet (and more specifically BHW) become an elected liable entity?
If they aren't in any public sections (and may not be in any private sections) then that was the decision of either the staff or 7878 himself (who has the right to remove his own content should he so desire). He has is reasons and if he wants people to know then they will be revealed in due time, and if not, then it doesn't really matter. Content on a forum is fluid. Enjoy it while you can.

But why are other threads that are based on that method being removed? Just his week another case study by another person here was removed which was very helpful to many of us. Is it about the particular method or topic that was being discussed because it's just another method out of hundreds that people can use to generate business.
Exactly. If 7878 wanted his method removed, more power to him. But other people's threads being removed for a similar method? Come on.. .its not like 7878 invented ORM. He thought of using lumpy mail to help with getting clients. Seeing as I have been getting lumpy mail since the early 80s I somehow doubt it was invented here or by 7878.
And no this isn't an elected blah blah whatever, but it also isn't some super secret boys club, or is it?
Guess I was under the assumption we all were here to learn and share methods of making money. If a method is making you rich and you share, you are expecting it to eventually become saturated. If it was some big secret, you wouldn't have shared it.
I have learned a lot here. I have enjoyed most everything about this place over the years ( hell I lurked for about a full year between my first post and when I started to be active, cuz I didn't want to be a moron posting crap) but I just think its funny when we play what is essentially grade school games. I got a secret and you can't know it! lalalalala.
And if the management that runs the place wants to keep it hush hush, they have a monumental task ahead of them cuz as we all know, this is the internet, not much stays secret for long. Only way you keep a secret is if your the only one with it.

Now, I just wanna know if we can talk about ORM here as I find the entire concept to be interesting and I would enjoy a place I could discuss the business out in the open. if this place isn't it, then maybe someone would kindly PM with the URL of a place like that and I won't clutter this section with any ORM ( as per the rules).
If there is not forum to discuss that kind of thing then maybe one of us should step up and make one.

The reason we don't disclose why we make decisions is because it causes arguments and bitching (like you can see above). I've told you it was deleted. This was 7878's decision and he is not expected to explain himself.
Similarly, if you post a method that you would like removed (for whatever reason) then feel free to ask and we will remove it for you.
A common reason for having a thread removed is getting too many PMs about it. As moderators, we get a lot of PMs over the course of the year and it's not always practical to encourage others to PM over a method. You wouldn't like it if an important PM was missed by a mod because they had 100 others over something irrelevant (like a method posted). Similar logic behind why we don't explain decisions that are related to moderating the forum.
Yes, you can still discuss ORM, that's not a problem. You're all just going to have to live with the fact that the specific posts were removed and that no further explanation will be offered.
Please note that I was under no obligation to post or explain this, I'm just trying to dismiss some of the views that BHW is an "old boys" club. If you look at the shares you get from the higher members here in the main sections, you'll realise that is not the case. I know from PMs I have got that I have helped people make 100s of thousands of dollars collectively. I've also helped members sell millions of dollars in websites. And that's just me, I'm not the only one who shares freely and helps people make money.
Thanks in advance for your understanding and for respecting 7878's privacy.

With such an enormous amount of knowledge shared freely on this forum some of you still have the balls to start whining when you can't find something? Really?!
Just open a new random bhw page and you will most likely find some info that can make you money... Spend your time a bit more constuctively and appreciate the work the mods and your fellow members are putting into helping you and me.

Thanks Meathead for your explanation. Case closed as far as I can see. I look forward to more ORM talk on here.
Also wanted to add I can imagine how many PMs you get from people. It must rank up there with the silly questions people ask without reading the whole thread on a good method. Often times you just wanna choke someone when they ask the same question as 30 other guys and the answer was on page 1.

I, for one, found 7878's thread very beneficial and I'm glad that I was able to read and learn from it before it was removed. As for the removal, the bottom line is, it's none of my business so I'm moving on.

The reason I started this thread was because someone was doing a case study and his thread was removed. I know for a fact that he didn't ask for it to be removed as shortly thereafter he made another thread asking as to where his original thread went.
Both threads are gone and no where to be found.
If as you say it was 7878's decision to remove his posts thats fine and his right but there were many others that contributed to a thread and had their posts affected.
Meathead, you contributions in the site flipping forum are great and are worth alot. I just find that ORM discussions have basically disappeared from this forum because of what has happened.
I await 7878 WSO soon.
