Hey everyone it's been a very long time since I last posted anything to BHW. Been busy actually making money on the internet. I had to take a break so I could just take action. I now make a full time living from IM and a lot of that goes to BHW for giving me all the training I need for FREE! So in return I wanted to share a very simple tactic that even someone with little IM knowledge could do.

This method involves teaching others in your area how to do internet marketing for free! Here are the steps that I took to get people to come and I will include other ways you can grow this and actually make very good money doing it.

Step 1.) Create some build up on your facebook page. Make a status and ask if anyone would be interested in learning how to make money off the internet.

Step 2.) After you you get enough feedback on the people that would like to learn add them to a group where you can all chat to each other and spike their interest even more.

Step 3.) Plan a day that would be most convenient for everyone in the group. Usually will be around 5-7 PM.

Step 4.) Put together what you want to teach them. Usually will be very basic things such as talking about the basics of what IM really is. (can always make it a multiple part class)

Step 5.) have your hostgator affiliate link from CJ.com ready.(do it through CJ.com so you get the $100 commission from the get go)

Step 6.) Either while giving the class or chatting with them in your FB group tell them you've also decided you are going to help them make their first website for free etc... Install WordPress, setup Premium theme.(which you can get tons for free here at BHW

Step 7.) Give class then make sure your students follow up signing up at Hostgator using your aff link that is and your on a fast track to make some serious money talking about IM which you should love anyways :P

The most important thing to remember doing this is to just have fun doing it! I have made some rock solid business deals doing classes like this just being personable. Have confidence in yourself. You can accomplish anything if you really set your mind to it. You have to believe it's possible and then take action.

Expanding on this model you could easily do many things. Here are some suggestions just to get you going.

create landing page and buy FB ads that only target people in your area or post on pages and sites that are geared for your area. Or instead of a landing page you could just create a FB page that way you don't have to develop a LP.

Offer affiliate products to them that could help them in their venture. Market Samuri, themes, services etc.. You could also record your classes and sell them in an online training course etc..

I have been a HostGator Aff for over 3 years now and I have built entire businesses of this model alone! For example to make myself seem more professional I send my students here: LiftedPress Which offers 3 packages for getting their wordpress website. Not only does it make me seem more professional but it also converts better and makes the process much more simple for me.

I like this method because it merely proves why internet marketing is so profitable. If you can't make money doing it, you sure as hell can make money selling it!

Very helpful share. Really like your twist on the selling hosting model which is a very lucrative one at $100 per sign up. Great example of thinking outside of the box. Repped.

So what kind of websites are they buying, sites for adsense, affiliate marketing or what?

at the beginning of class I told them to write down 5 things they are interested in and would like to build a site on. Usually all the sites are niche related but a good bit are also just personal sites and business sites. I've had businesses owners come to class just so they can learn more about leveraging the internet for their business and then actually hire me to do work for them.

Have you tried doing this with webinars instead? I would have thought that's a lot more scalable.

If you want to do it the "blackhat" way, write out a decent script and hire a hot girl to do it as a webinar on webcam. Show some earning screenshots etc and it should convert pretty well, especially if you target men

I've been doing this alot, just with webinars.
Works amazing, i've got alot of SEO customers with this kind of methods.

Yeah a good webinar can definitely hold one's attention.

I didn't use a powerpoint. I don't like doing powerpoints to boring. I just showed them examples of sites that I create and did mostly talking. People loved the class as they are learning more ways to make money.

Appreciate the share (Rep + Thanks given). Have done something similar in the past, but was generating leads through classified sites and other postings.

Thinking the only way to expand on this is by hiring some commission sales staff and giving them a decent cut per sale they bring in.

Would be interested in chatting with you or anyone who has ideas for sustainable lead gen to promote these kinds of offers.

To make the $100 on hostgator from CJ, do they have to sign up for any amount of months? Doesn't HG have different commission levels based on amount of hosting time bought? And is CJ the only one besides HG to have an offer like that? I hate waiting one month for payment.

1. Create Fanpage (Around IM)
2. Add a few thousand fans via services here
3. Make a status regarding Free IM Classes.
4. If you get 10 people interested out of 2-3k people. Then you'd get 10 signups at $100.
5. Buy yourself a beer.
6. Rinse and repeat, along with step 5.

Why are you not reselling hosting to them? Start your own hosting and get all the money recurring, not just 100 quick bucks.

What's stopping you trying it and finding out for yourself?

It's not as if it will take much time to setup.

It will definitely work, how much you earn will depend on how much effort you put into the initial setup.

Maybe I am missing something, but he mentioned that one should use the Hostgator offer at CJ.

Then you won't have to worry about any silliness from Hostgator.

That is correct if you use CJ you shouldn't have any problems. I always get my payout and only wait around 2 months. Since I get consecutive signups I don't really notice the wait anymore.

Some of my students are making money. For example one student was a magician and I helped him get more gigs with his site. Another one sells their handcraft goods online. So yes some of my students are making money but just like anything a lot of people will quit early on just because its not instant.

Awesome post Bells ringing in my head. However he is not guarantee'ing them that just setting up a site will make them money. OP is just giving a orientation that this can make them money if they work towards it.
You can try one of this twist mate:
After you get them signed up with hosting n domain. Make them to sign up as your referrals for any CPA network. Tell them to join your private forum (or BHW itself) where you can help them in their journey. They make money you make money too Kind of residual income to You. Work once and get paid again and again. Keep motivating them and make them to see their $1 which will keep them going.

Could easily ask if I can borrow a class room at my college and post up flyers around the college as well! I bet I could get a ton of people to come this way. Once I get going on my ORM business I might have a crack at this as well. It's interesting because now that I remember, I once had the idea of how cool it would be if I could get a teacher's degree and see if I could push some form of IM onto schools and be one of the first IM teachers. I don't know why I didn't think of doing this before!

How do you get everyone to sign up for Hostgator when they are at your house? Do they all bring their laptops?

some used my computer to signup. Sometimes your link might not give you the commission based on my experience but if you contact hostgator and show them the signup email from your students they add the $100 commission to your cj account. also some signed up the next day. I still get some of my students that didn't signup wanting to signup. I also send them to my site liftedpress which helps sell them and allows them to pick from a slew of premium designs
