I've been on here for a few months, never saying much, but taking some info here and there. I've spent most of the past year developing a good social media business. I've had a number of corporate clients who I run their social media for, fan pages, analysis, promotions, contests, etc. I've built a bunch of blogs and other stuff when it comes up, but done most of it on my own with a few tools and took down over $50k on only about 5 clients (part-time mind you)!

I'm now looking to put a team together to start getting more business and focus on offline clients for SEO, Google Places, Social media, etc.

I don't have the time or the expertise to do it all myself and i'm a better networker and lead generator (I sell but understand what i'm selling). I'm good with understanding facebook and some now on google places, but I really want a solid team to outsource this too. I'm in Toronto. It would be nice to have team in similar time zones (all North america/centeral america).

Design Work/Full Websites (not just a graphic designer, but a wordpress guy/girl!)

The SEO and Mobile Marketing are my concerns right now.

Im in the process of going offline now down in South Africa and have all the necessary tools available running on a VPS hosted in the states. I would be very interested in partnering up with you though I would appreciate some credit under my "brand". "Preferred partner" is an example. Just a mention on your site and no need to tell your clients that. I would arrange prices on a per project basis based on the difficulty in ranking though it would be a good idea to get some form of base pricing system up. I'm obviousely on Skype. I am at my "night job" now but I have a couple of offline clients that I do nothing but organic seo for and very close to getting a 3rd. I am interested in your social management, perhaps we can white label each others services, I offer social and let you do it for a cut and you offer seo and I get a cut. I am having great success with local terms and some good success with broader terms too! Hit me with a pm and we can talk more.

I've done some consulting for a firm in Calgary who's willing to take on new clients. Together we've produced great results for clients with medium/hard competition.

They're also a full service development shop and do really nice work.

hey. My clients I first sit down and chat about facebook, and twitter and explain the real differences for a client/business. how much they should post on each, what kind of posts, etc. We then set up soem custom tabs, fan gates (click like to get somethin) and so on. Once that set, updating promos, running contests, interacting with fans, getting new fans, funning facebook ad campaigns, getting people on lists, and so on! There is a lot you can do and offer or a little. Teh great thing about facebook is my clients love teh results and interaction they see from clients if they put the effort into the right spots!

Too many people only know how to post on facebook! We usually set up a game plan with a client, amounts up front for full set up and then a monthly for updates, etc. Alll depends on what clients want to get into, and their budget. At a min they need to get a custom page adn design, profile images, etc.

Done lots of SEO in the past setting up wordpress sites, social media promotion, backlinking, etc. More than willing to put the time in, and I know the lingo. Unlike this Guy I have done a TON of SEO in the last couple Years aswell as other Online marketing. Including Google Places / Organic / Facebook / Linked-in (hot new niche) / Twitter / Reputation Managment ( very nice niche)

Would you mind sharing how much you charge for a monthly social media marketing campaign? Once you do the initial set up, maintaining it by interacting once or twice a day or setting up a new promotion is very minimal work, right? I mean, that's like 5-10mins a day tops. Promotion might take an hour or so to get new graphics maybe, or pay someone $5 on Fiverr I guess.

Hmmm, actually, even at 10mins a day, 30 days per month.... that's about 5 hours work. So if you charge $100/hour, I guess you can still justify about $500/month. Interesting.

I'm starting to get a few clients asking about mobile sites. I've tried to look around here for details on mobile sites and how to build, but its a little complex. You build traffic... in fact, this is a fast way to build targeted traffic to you site when it's brand new (unless you jv or something).. and it's cheaper then seo... the big brands engage there accounts too.. Not just crappy posts.. but competitions, surveys etc that bring MORE traffic and business.

Most people don't know how to do this effectively, so outsourcing social media can be a goldmine if done correctly.
