Help: Spanish offline clients
I called a few people that speak only Spanish if they had a websites and they said no. I found them from local magazines. I actually called the magazines to see how much do they charge for people to put an ad (full page or half page) starting prices are $250 a week! so I know there is money to make them a website or google places. Now the help I need is someone who is good to translate in Spanish about why they should get my services instead of paying them each week when they can pay me and they can be on there for ever. Updates or if they need something changed I can do of course. Let me know what you guys think or ideas please

Re: Help: Spanish offline clients
You can find people on fiverr who can translate it, and then just run it through google translate after they are done to verify it. Get a voicemail line and/or autoresponder that offer a free special report on what you are selling. When they want to purchase your services have a ready made contract in spanish and english that they sign, and all the other information request sheets that you need from them. Instead of big paragraphs have one line numbered items, so its easy to reference.

Re: Help: Spanish offline clients
I use to work in the hispanic market.
It is a money pit.
Those people are underserved and overcharged.
They will pay anything for a little bit of help.
you are on to a great market.

Re: Help: Spanish offline clients
I'd recommend getting someone to go with you on these meetings you set up with clients and have him translate. Or you can train a reliable bilingual individual to close the sales with the Spanish speaking clients and pay him commission for every closed sale.

The Spanish market is definitely untapped. One of the reasons why I'm very confident in my business strategy is because I'm bilingual, so I don't have to outsource that aspect of my strategy.

Re: Help: Spanish offline clients
To the OP, thats awesome that you see the Hispanic Market as a money pit for SEO services and anything to do with Internet Marketing. I see you are from Los Angeles where the market is big and lucrative. Im Hispanic myself and live in a area that has a small hispanic population. I have tried pitching Internet marketing services to certain people I know with Hispanic businesses that have to do with what is the norm: and what is the norm in business for them. Basically what services or products are they providing to there clients? Its money wire transfers/bodegas-restaurants-mechanic shops and even food markets. One thing I have seen them have trouble with understanding is "how does the web benefit me or us in my business?" "how does the web make me money"? When I proceed in to explain the benefits and how the benefits equal profits..its something so unbelievable to them. Its like trying to lead a horse to the water that doesnt want to drink. They come back with "porque tengo que promover mi negocio en un sitio the internet si la gente lla hase eso por mi cuando me refieren a gente? (this means why should I promote my website online when I have people referring me people?) Or "esto se escucha muy complicado y mejor prefiero advirtar en la television, revistas, radio porque alli si paga"? (This means o that sounds to complicated I prefer to advertise on tv,radio, magazines etc because that pays...)
The Hispanic community is a goldmine especially in areas with large populations of them...Im hispanic and I see the massive niche there to provide products and services...When I have spoken to some they admit that they see a huge potential to be online, but just dont trust it. Its funny because when I google for Hispanic Online Marketing like what is done here in America. There is alot of people in Mexico taking on the online world.. I see the Hispanic Music artists apply online tools more often than business to reach there young hispanic audience...There is a huge gap of misinformation or not enough in Hispanics knowing why internet marketing is very valuable for there business...

Check out 'one hour translation' I use them for Adwords etc. in Spain. You can't beat it for the small volume of words adverts usually are.
