First off I'm going to say I have experience in SEO and can rank websites, I'm certainly no expert and don't always get my desired rankings, but than again these were no local keywords for local businesses, which look like child's play to rank for which I could rank for if I wanted to.

I was curious for the people that offer these services to there clients, what exactly do you guys offer them?

Is it something like top 10 rankings for 10 different local keywords for there site?

charge more for each extra keyword?

what about if there site isn't seo friendly and isn't targeting local keywords it should?

when offering local seo services do you strictly just stick to ranking there company website or do you also throw in web 2.0 properties to also rank for there local keywords?

I want to offer this service to prospects along with my other services, but I'm trying to get a feel for what exactly should be offered when in comes to local seo services. I know one thing I'm definitely going to charge a monthly maintenance fee for such a service.

I would say charge based on competitive level. A lawyer should pay more then a shoe maker to get in the 7 pack, wouldn't you agree?

I would also say charge based on comp and LTV=Life Time Value of your clients customers.
