Re: How to find Clients.
i am not sure what you mean by offline marketing and not being able to find clients... do you mean not able to CLOSE clients? every business around should be a potential client... use your favorite places to go, yellowbook, google places, your personal network, where your friends work ect. and pick up the book "how to make friends and influence people".

Re: How to find Clients.
Actually someone posted a great tutorial how to sell leads/visitors from your site.
Go to the nearest industrial building center, look the supliers who are presented there and then do a little backround check and then call them through one by one.
Then you know what companies do business near you and you can offer them a specific proposal with the lead service.

Then you would be best hiring a cold caller with a british or american accent. It will increase your conversions immensely!

It depends if you have a leads list or not, there is a big price and experience difference depending on if you have leads, qualified leads or no leads

Re: How to find Clients.
You live in India and you want to do offline marketing for US-based companies? Some of those companies may want to meet with you face-to-face. What will you do then?
I'm pretty antisocial and prefer working from home. Almost every business I've offered seo services to wanted to meet me for lunch. I guess they feel more confident if they saw your face.

Re: How to find Clients.
this was already suggested and said kinda.. but to reiterate..
I think your best plan would be to find people from US, UK to JV with.. have them find you clients and pay them a one time fee for closing the clients.. and then you do all the technical work and send off the leads or whatever it is you're doing.

Re: How to find Clients.
Offline marketing can't really be done from another country, unles you create a site like service magic.

But you're offering online marketing services to offline businesses. I know people who cold call businesses in another city/state and manage to close deals over the phone without a face-to-face.

Re: How to find Clients.
You put a period rather than a question mark, this changes everything.
Rather, you're asking how to find clients.
Walking into any public area or even stepping outside your house, you can see possible clients. How to convert them, that's a completely different question.

Re: How to find Clients.
OP, I have a phone sales team. PM me, we may be able to work something out.

Re: How to find Clients.
Anyone who's been in business any amount of time doesn't need leads they want
clients.
What is the quality of your leads? How are your leads generated?
Any businessman wants proof of ROI before parting with any money themselves.
There is a difference between people wanting to use your services and people interested
in your services.
Do you have testimonials? How professional is your approach? Do you have professional
looking website and stationary?
Would you buy leads from me of people interested in your leads service? I doubt it
as you have difficulties converting these people and you know that would be a waste
of your money.
If you really believe in the value of your service offer a free trial. If your list performs
they will have no issue employing your services. If it doesn't then you know you are
just another second rate vendor peddling worthless rubbish.

The Following User Says Thank You to oxonbeef For This Useful Post:

I work in central London and every business is being contacted by Indian SEO services.
When I speak to these business owners they tell me that they cannot see any credibility when they email or call up.
I get the impression that are put of by the fact a) Indian SEO services are billed in dollars b) grammatical English can be appalling and c) they are 10 a penny as we say in uk or dime a dozen as they say in US.
I would focus on the expanding growth in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bangalore first. Look for companies there that market to English speaking countries. Get paid in your own currency and get building some credibility
Best of luck to you anyway

Re: How to find Clients.
You could try charging per lead based on what service magic charges. If your leads are exclusive then they will be better then service magic's leads. Give them a month or 2 weeks of free leads and if they like the leads then they'll pay you for more.

I totally agree with you. I think that OP knows this as well possibly because he has experienced this first hand. I know that a lot of people here in the U.S deal with India telephone support for computer, cell phone, and numerous other technical issues and they sometimes have a hard time communicating. I personally experience some of the same issues outsourcing work to India, but I deal with it because the price is right. I am willing to purchase the leads from OP if they are good quality and fresh.

Dude, don't be ringing customers up in the UK. I speak from experience that the satisfaction levels with Indian call centres is dropping like a brick on recent years and that's on customer service calls. If you're cold calling AND trying to make a sale then you're going to struggle..harsh but true.
As others suggested employ someone with a British accent as well as targeting Asian communities in the UK
