Hello,
What's the best combination of printers/paper/ink for mass color flyers/coupons printing? I'm looking for a good quality/price ratio (siding somewhat upon the price side).

hp officejet pro 8600 series printers
the black cartdrige they take is the 950XL which will run you $35.99 and gives you approx 2,500 prints
compare that to a laser printer.. a toner with that yield will cost you over $100
also the 8600's do EVERYTHIGN... print/copy/scan/fax/photo, have apps, e-print, iphone+ipad support... you can't beat them

Colour printing is always expensive.
A cheaper alternative to vanilla black and white is to go to a professional copier and get them to print black ink on coloured paper.
I got a batch done, 300 approx. pages for about the equivalent of 15 bucks. And it won't smear in the rain either (like inkjet does).
^ the new ink which is in the hp 8600 series i mentioned and also the new canon printers doesn't smudge. you can highlight it the second the printer spits it out

Go with postcards.... WHy print them yourself? You can have printed 5000 full color postcards, heavy stock, bleed to edge, super high resolution for +/- $90.00.
Money frees you from doing things you dislike. Since I dislike doing nearly everything, money is handy. G.Eliot
