It's for a etching business she wants a store and everything so I'm buying a theme forest theme for $35 and she paid me $300.

I totally should have charged more. This lady wastes my time I'm at her house changing her printers, she asks me about plumbing, she asks me what micro sd cards do, she asks me tons of stupid technology questions and I've been there like 8 hours total so far.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm learning about this whole offline business wordpress template selling.

Just charge 30$ more for everything you are doing, and you'll be ok .

Try doing all the business via email in the future. A lot of people think if they give you a dollar, they can ask whatever they want because they've paid.

$300? I've been quoted 400-800 just for a website that would take 15 minutes to make. You're definitely undercharging.

Get serious and sharp.

Criticize... make the problem looks a whole lot bigger so you can charge more.
Stay on your word. Before you do something she wants, tell her the price. If she's okay with it, do it, if not, give her a little lower price, but not too low. If the problem would cost her 100$ tell her 130$, she's not okay with that, then tell here: Okay okay I'll do it for 100$. Customers like bargaining.

Create a pricelist for the services you offer. Give pricelist to customers before they ask for service.

First of all: is she hot?

Also, ecommerce stores are ALWAYS more. They start out at a minimum of $800.

Maybe drop the client unless she's really hot. Then just do what I'll do: Be her sex slave.

Hahahaha!! EWWWWW she's like 90! I wish that was an option! Ha ha!

Best just let this go down for experience... Next time make sure you mention some kind of charge for updates, other stuff like consulting what a SD card is. Most times if the client knows that just talking with you is costing them money then they leave you alone with crazy questions and such.

Next time charge by the hour.

I dunno, she is 90 and has money to burn... sounds like a future Sugar Mama!! Get in there now and be rich when the old lady croaks!
