How would you guys go about ranking the site other than doing backlinks?
I notice that when you put in the local search term, google comes up with listings first, then the search results.
Wont that affect your traffic and the like?

i want to know how to get it above google places... they're always on top of the search results.

i have noticed though that for my keyword, someone else has gotten it above google places. i want to know how to do that.
