Just writing this, because I used to love reading all the success stories, now finally I can write mine.
First of all, money is out there, you just have to reach out and grab it!
Basically started my website and graphics business with 2 other friends. We put our website online, and printed 5000 flyers. We spent 45 minutes (not even 1 hour!) giving out flyers to local shops asking them if we could put them on there desks or counters.
From this we got 5 leads!
1 real estate agent
1 snowboarding shop
1 fruit and veg wholesaler
1 furniture shop
and...
a series B Football club! ( quite famous here in Italy!)

Out of these leads, we are already working with 3 of them and negotiating with the rest.
Oh, and wer'e from Italy, so if it's possible here, it's possible anywhere!

Just Take Action. This is probably the most used phrase here on BHW, but honestly it works!

great mind think alike . This was one of my method. Althought I haven't gotten any respond yet, I am sure i will. It's amazing how old marketing method still works.

Congrats, and keep up the work. Next buy a bumper stick and stick that baby on your rear!

Ha! Funny you say that just bought myself a used smart car Getting my logo and website all over the side of the car!

I need to do this for my web business. I did in the past with success but then had a hard time keeping up with clients and the day job. Was never enough to quit the day job yet..

I am finding it easy to manage things by having 2 partners, it would definitely help IMO if you find it hard to keep up with customers. Divide the work by 3!
