So Saul, why ain't you aiming for a crazy goal like $30,000 $50,000? Well that takes a while but don't get me wrong its totally doable with this. But for a 19 year old in USA over 5000$/m is a good income to do whatever you want (Young adults like me like to enjoy life and do crazy stuff) and have a nice place of course. But there's two motives here on this thread. 1. To establish a nice recurring income which won't take a lot of time to operate and maintain, but will last a long long while. 2. Help other BHW members start making a good living with SMS, help motivate them to not fear of making money!

It's all in your head, do you really want it? I know most of you may think, I really need the money and I really want to do it but still don't do anything about it. Well it's because you need to see someone else succeed who wants you to succeed. You need courage and you need to realize, a simple phone call ain't gonna get your breath taken away, it has the potential of changing your life for the better.

So I hope you guys stick to it with me and be brave in making money in offline. People around you, in your life will see you as that bad ass businessman, driving that SRT8 giving you tons of respect so think of those little things that will make a big difference in your life.

Types of business I will target:

- #1 Restaurants- Bring back customers
- #2 Bars- Bring back customers
- #3 Clubs- Bring back customers
- #4 Dentists- Remind clients of appointments they may have

Restaurants= R
Bars= B
Clubs= C
Dentists= D

I'll be primarily focused on Restaurants for the beginning of this. Restaurants are the perfect type of business for SMS without a doubt. Yes I will be selling them the appointment, not the product. Thanks "7878" for that goodness

You want to build the relationship with them TRUST ME, you don't wanna go in and offer what you have instantly. "If a random dude came up to you and said he could increase your sales if you bought his product for xxx, what would you do?" Say no thanks! But if this guy came up to you and said "Hey, I was wondering if you would happen to be open to new ideas for your business? See we have a new technology which can take your sales up by 25-100% and we'd love to introduce it to you and help ya out, at no charge, all we need is 15-20 minutes of your time to go over it". Sure I'd love that! You see, sell and set the appointment and your good to go. Don't be scared of them, the worse they could do is say something bad or hang up, but other then that happening all they can do is stuff your bank account with that green stuff

Their getting sold too like maniacs and phoned like crazy, make value to them, STAND OUT. Once you've separated yourself from the normal cold callers who don't care for them and shown you ACTUALLY want to help them, your in higher hopes of getting this business as your client PERIOD

OK. All I charge them at the end of the appointment is a 40$ fee (marketing material) they are completely fine with that. You don't have to be in their area to get them their marketing material. Just design the fliers and get them at vista print for cheap, get them mailed as fast as possible to the client. If they can print it out, that saves you time right there.

So now that your minds all situated and ready to go, take the time to go over what you will tell them on the appointment. Write down a script and start going over it until it's etched in your head. Dont sound desperate to get them as your client because they are the ones who should be desperate in what you have to provide. There's no method but it's basically going to be me showing you guys that you can make money with SMS mobile marketing by offering it to offline businesses. I'll update this thread with more info

its confusing do you have affiliate for this ? i think its like you get commision by making other people to use their mobile to txt a number with code and when they get charge you get commision ?

No it's not like that, the customers and such are only joining the list for deals and special offers from the restaurant, It's free to them to join these SMS mobile lists. The businesses are the ones I charge for this service in order to use it

I think it's a very good idea, and in my opinion 40$ is very cheap for a restaurant. I'm going to follow your success ^^

Else, you can combine this with QR-Codes - Many, many don't know it yet, so that you can include it in your proposal. It will make you more professional

Absolutely.. not! 40$ is just for the marketing material and also to set them up on the PayPal subscription which is an important step. They get a free trial first to actually try it and see it works, then they pay. Yes offering something of nice value to them is also good and will increase their chances but the main part you want to sell on is the actual appointment because that is where it all goes down. QR codes are pleasing to them as well.

I will be updating and putting a list with the amount of leads I found, so as I call them I will update it and check which ones I got interested etc etc. thanks for following guys, It's good to get involved

How much do you charge them?

I can get 2 mettings with club owners from off my city right away.

PS: SMS Marketing is much like email marketing, except instead of sending out emails, you're sending out text messages!

Now, when you consider that damn near every business has its own set of 'repeat customers'...whether it's restaurants, ice-cream shops, Spa's, Hair Salons, Nail Shops, Etc, Etc...SMS marketing allows you the opportunity to get those 'repeat customers' back into your store much sooner then they would have otherwise returned on their own!

Now, as the owner of any one of these types of establishments, you could easily increase your revenue by sending out special "VIP Only" text alerts and get customers into your store/business to take advantage of them sooner rather then later!

Seeing as these 'deals' would only be valid for 24-48 hours, and most text messages are read w/in the first 8 to 12 minutes, versus several hours for email, then the recipient would do one of two things:

1. Drop what they're doing and come in!
2. Make plans to come in BEFORE the 'deal' expires!

By doing this, you're doing two things:

A. Tapping into our want/need to 'save money'
B. Creating a sense of urgency!

Sorry for the long post...just thought I'd share some information seeing as some of the previous posters seemed to not have understood exactly what SMS Marketing was all about, or how to offer it to local businesses!

On a side note to the OP, if I can't 'sell the appointment', I'm offering an email that outlines everything, as well as pricing and then letting them know I'll get in touch w/them in the next day or so in order to answer any questions they might have!

I like to stay under 300$ for this service because it's easy on them and they get a big value from it just like H2oBoy talked about above me. That is some very good info on this and what SMS marketing is for these businesses.

Don't be strangers to them, get to know them and such it works so much better then trying to be an asshole salesmen. I know we'll have success guys, thanks

You should also consider offering mobile site development. I think that is more lucrative than SMS. You could even offer a bundle package.
