It would be cool to install a bookings calendar on the site ( wp plugin) and have to patients go ahead a book an appointment with thte dentist then approach the owner of the practice and say hey I have clients I GENERATED sign up and pay me a monthly fee

I don't really see how something like this would be realistic in the days of panda... ranking such a thin site that will be blatantly used for selling advertising seems unrealistic. Does it still work?

Sites are already down so I'm assuming that this didn't work long term.

Where i live, in capital city there are 700k people living, and google keyword tool says for dentist - 500 broad searches and 50 exact searches, can that bring 500 visitors/month / i doubt it, who could help me ?

I am a account manager in the health area and I could use this layout for a new business. I know I would be able to generate an income but I have to read more how SEO which I have somewhat of an idea but still need to learn what tools to really buy and look into. I will keep you guys posted when I am ready to do it as I still have a lot to research.

That is exactly what i am testing right now. One really strong domain, then subdomains for individual cities. And then doing videos for each subdomain as well as trying to rank teh site. Gettign mixed results so far, but will keep you updated...

I think I'm going to try that as well. Having a hard time finding the domain names I am looking for. Also, Google has stated in the last update about building brand name domains over keyword domains. I have one picked out and using the Multisite feature in wordpress I should be able to accomplish this. This will also help if I ever decide to use Local TV or Radio advertising.

Would welcome some wordpress theme ideas. Has anyone used contact forms to allow users to email the lead directly to the advertiser. The form can also be used to send a text message to the advertiser which would be great for contractors who are not in an office all day.

My hosting doesn't seem to support the multisite setup with subdomains. I would have to setup each individually which is not something I am really interested in doing. Have you tested or even considered the one domain with either seting up folders under multisite or just as categories under a standard wordpress install? I was looking at a local coupon site here in my local who does tv and radio advertising and they use a wordpress install with categories.

One of the things I am looking at doing is treating this like a local version of Angie's List where users register (for free) to rate and write reviews on local businesses and then offering say the top three spots in each category to those who have a minimum of say 2 reviews and a rating of 4 or more stars for example.

Instead of fractions you can get real cuts. This method looks great

Thisq method is still 100% working. I made a hell of a lot of cash from it and still manage to do so. You do not need to achieve positions 1-3 in google to make this successful. I have some sites on 2nd page generating me leads. All my sites are 100% panda and penguin compliant and have worked my ass off to get them up there. If you want to discuss with people who are already successful with this method you should sign up to the Facebook group in my sig . Over 500 members and growing. We'll be adding some decent content in there very soon.
