I have an offline client who has a MySpace page with 18,000 friends. She wants to know if these friends can be imported somehow to Facebook. I searched online, but couldn't find any way. Does anyone know of a "creative way" to accomplish this?

I highly doubt it... unless you send them all an email telling them that you're switching to FB, and if they'd like - they can like you there or become friends etc.

edit: the only mass email type option it seems is to post a bulletin. I'll let you know if I find anything more.

I would imagine the best way to do this would to be hiring someone on oDesk to email each one of them, one at a time.

I dont think there is direct way to do it you should do it manually because its not necessay if someone is having a myspace then he must have a facebook too

There is no easy way to do it, but you could point out the complexity for your client and tell her you are willing to do it if the price is right. Then you could extract some of the emails from facebook using a tool, then using some SEO tools you could mass add them gradually on myspace.

It would not be a full conversion and there are many people who only have facebook and not myspace so you wouldn't be able to convert all over.
If the client already has a good thing going with facebook why start over?
It's like having a good email campaign and starting a new one. Noone wants to reaccept a new newsletter.
