This is not really an idea from myself, but I saw it being done on myspace, and it looks quite interesting. Just though I'd share.
So I got a spam message from a myspace "friend" that said exactly this :
Quote:
|
has anyone told u ur my space picture is all over hazelsphere.com
|
So I got to this website, just to take a look. When the page loads, you get a message box telling you :
Quote:
|
Our system indicates that a pic from your ip adress have been uploaded to this site within the past 48 hours.
|
Then you're just redirected to a simple form containing this :
Quote:
Fill in to view your pics.
Must be accurate:
FULL Name of Friend who referred you to this page: [ text field ]
Your FULL Name: [ text field ]
Your VALID Email:[ text field ]
[submit button]

I think you know what I mean : you can just copy this system, create a myspace account if you don't have one yet, add a bunch of friends and spam them with such a message.
They will give you their name and email address hopping that they will find their picture and be able to request it to be deleted from the website.
Once they've filled the form, have a "confirmation email" sent to them so they "opt in".
Then you can just redirect them to an error page, or why not even a cpa aff link.
The conversion of this is probably very high, as most myspace user happily expose their whole life on their own myspace page, but are very nitpicky when it comes to their so called "privacy". (Yeah I know that doesn't make any sense

)
This was "How to turn your myspace friends into an opt-in mailing list".
