Yeah I've tried his patch for the newest version and it doesn't seem to work on my end either...

I'm using it with 10.8.1 now. What's different in 10.8.2 that make it worth the update?

10.8.2 is the same, i went back to 10.8.1 until the new patch is released.

Why patch? Cant you just register the older version using the KEY supplied in one of the other threads, then simply upgrade? Surely the keys dont change between versions. You should be able to register with key then update.

Is their anything new in that version? Does inviting work (for me it doesn't..)?

Try to see if you can use your antivirus to block the downloading of the update. It still works fine on my machine without the update.

However, Im switching to win7-64 and was wondering if anyone is able to get it to work properly?

Well the thing is, the old patches have been working fine with all the previous updates in the past but this newest update none of the patches seem to be working.

FBP must have changed something finally. So looks like a new patch needs to be made completely.

10.8.1 will still work fine, but eventually it probably won't. So people will need a patch eventually.

or will need $50 to buy a key if the program's really made u money....

I'm running 10.8.1 on Win7-64 with the old crack. It works fine.

im running FBP 10.8.1 on win7-32 and its still running good, but you know in about two weeks or so the old version will stop working...

I bought mine a window 7-64 and the program even though it installs doesn't want to run nor patch.

When you install and run the patch make sure you right click and choose run as admin.

FWIW, I have a friend who works for MS and helped build Win7. He gets an earful from me on a weekly basis. If there are any particular names you want to call him, let me know and I'll pass them along as well.

i think the myspace friend bomber is better...

10.8.1 doesn't gather friends on the auto setting. So it won't goto the next page, collect the IDs and then keep going through the pages. It does collect IDs on whatever page you are on though, but you have to manually click the "Next" button each time.

Since there is no patch for 10.8.2 and blacKdeath appears to be MIA, then we're pretty much stuffed. Have been using MyspaceFriendBomber to gather IDs, then import those into FBP and voila, at least that option still works. A pain, and it takes more time, but we don't have many other options at present

I'm sticking with 10.8.0 until a patch for the latest version (10.8.3) is out.

Still using 10.8.0.1 and it not only can't collect friend ID's automatically, but when adding "friends" it now hangs on invalid ID's as well

10.8.0 works absolutely fine here. If you can get that, you won't need to upgrade yet.

has anyone notice that facebook is catching on to these programs now... im getting banned when i send like 8-13 friend request now...and i have the seting se to 7-10

Will give it a shot. You mean actually downgrading from 10.8.0.1 to 10.8.0 means the problems I listed above are corrected?

Ok, to answer my own question, I saw no difference using 10.8.0.1 vs 10.8.0. Going back one version did not correct the invalid ID's problem, and the page would still hang on either version. At this point I didn't even bother to check of 10.8.0 could collect friend's ID correctly either, and just went back to 10.8.0.1.

Hmm, well I gather 3000 and then send friend requests + message to 195 people every day and have no problem with 10.8.0.

So I can only presume that you're wanting FBP to do things that I'm not doing. Gathering and sending requests and messages works fine for me on this version though.

Sending out the friend's request still works fine. However if you have an invalid ID in your list, whether it be a deleted profile, or just something wrong with it, then the program now hangs. It used to simply skip over this and carry on sending messages, friends requests etc.

If you have no invalid IDs then you won't come across this problem.

As of right now, FBP v10.8.0.1 still works. But you have to coax it along now as it get's stuck in many different ways. Since myspace is an ever evolving work of coding, being stuck on this version will result in time, of things working less and less.

10.8.4 is out as of yesterday and still no new patch.....

Thanks daniel for the link. I see 10.8.5 is already out too. But this version you linked should keep us all happy for awhile.
