I've personally collected 300,000 TARGETED Myspace accounts sorted by state in the usa and by country elsewhere in the world, and then i created 70 myspace profiles to represent them. I'm now taking that list and pitching in a message via friendblasterpro to get them to come over to my social network. (400 messages to ppl/day on 70 accounts - 28000 potential pitches a day on a few machines day and night).

I've tried several different pitches, but I wanna make this elevator pitch really stick and get people to join my other network, which is gonna compete with myspace for a specific niche market. I want a real high response and call to action with this.

So, what's one elevator pitch technique you've used that has given your leads incentive to make that move to sign up for an account on another network or cpa offer?

Here's mine: I'm writing a pdf that I'm going to offer as a free download ($29 value yours FREE!) if you sign up - that kind of thing.

hmm.. myspace in my experience has been banning urls before i even got 20 clicks.

i'm not sure if the .pdf idea will work.. if you harvested the id's by zipcode, you need to do a lott of sending to get consistent clicks above 100 a day.

my idea for you is this,

send them all messages that appear as if they came from a myspace applicaton, inviting them to join blah blah network for "XXXX points" on "insert app name here", tell them it was automated and all that.. just try to make it look real, this is what im working on.

the problem then would be making them stay there.. give them games n stuff i guess (haven't seen your site) or do contests for best blogger ..

i just know that most users don't know what a .pdf is on myspace

Luckily i've had my domain name being used on myspace for years, and for mostly whitehat purposes, so the times i do use it for BH it's never been a problem thus far. It's got good standing with them.

Great idea on the app. I've been playing around with them and they're not that hard to make. It's probably better to get them where they are and take them to where you want them to go without them noticing anyway.

i wouldn't go with that pdf crap.. but i have been doing about the same, myspace alternative.
