Becoming a Pinterest Authority

Moving into the Social Network known as Pinterest. I plan to create an authority account but i will be also be attempting to
make money from the many followers im gaining daily. Ill do my best to keep the thread update daily with my progression
and earnings. Hopefully this thread will keep me motivate plus it gives me something to do every evening.

Day 7


  • Followers - 480
  • Following - 500
  • Images - 5,000
  • Boards - 19
Investment


  • PinPioneer - $39
  • Domain - $10
  • Hosting - Free
  • One Pinterest Account - Free
  • 3-4 hours daily

Total - $49

Once my account hits between 1-2,000 Followers then im going to begin monetize that traffic but for now
im just building up a decent sized audience.

no offense, but i think building up only 1 authority account is a very bad idea.
i myself got a 10k follower account banned and it is not fun!
my new idea is to build each board up to 5k followers so i can have back ups if one gets banned.
it has been working fairly well so far and i have been blasting them quite frequently.
but i am not blasting 1 so it can act as a back up, just in case.
how do you plan to monetize?
blasting 2k followers is definitely not enough to make good money from, need a minimum of 5k in my opinion.

Quality Over Quantity.
I post good quality content, no reason for me to be banned.
 
Very interesting. I've been trying to learn all of the nuances of pinterest lately.

Any insight on what triggers a pinterest spam filter, in terms of links?

Any tips on maximizing an image's exposure, and ensuring it shows up in pinterest search?

I currently don't post links so i have no encountered any problems like that but what i plan to do is link images to my site/blog instead of directly to a link depending on what im doing.
Obviously the more followers you have the more chance of you're image going viral. Try and get invited to fairly big boards. I currently have access to a board containing almost 4,000 images 450+ followers, soon as anything is posted it pretty much gets a lot of likes/shares within the hour.

Some days i might do 1-200 images others ill do up to a thousand just depends on how i feel. You only really need to be active to gain followers.
 
i wonder how you will going to monetize this after you reach that 1-2k followers :)

oh that much wow, i'm having problems achieving followers, dunno if i'm pinning enough (non-multithreaded bot, takes forever to go through accounts).
What delay has been good with you? i'm shooting at 60-120s

Hope that confluxSEO is launched asap so i can start creating wordpress sites for pinterest usage.
