Hey Guys,

I am wanting to start a directory and was wanting to know if anyone knew a good way to take listings from other sites and quickly upload them onto your own site without having to do the manual labour as it were.

I just want to get a hundred or so listings to make it look more popular in the early days.

I am using directorypress theme for wordpress if that helps.

I thought DirectoryPress had a DMOZ importer built in?

Yea but this is for a location based directory Dmoz wont have that, hmm off to check but I doubt it will

just curious what did you come up with? i have been wondering this myself
