Highly unlikely to get members to a free adult site. Visitors? Definately. Members highly unlikely because people can get most adult content for free elsewhere without having to signup. Unless of course you are in a very weird niche.

Submitting watermarked videos to other adult sites might get you some traffic, especially if they are more like promo vids as opposed to full vids.

you have to do it the competition way...adult industry is getting more saturated every single day!
so like others said ...videos on other porn sites...teasers on youtube will get you shit load of traffic ( only well-made teasers) ...facebook pages...think of everything...and only allow free members to watch your full-length videos that will help you!

you should instead think about something more creative.
adult is a tough market. you need ideas. you won't get tons of new members out of nothing.
