Hi does somebody know if memberwing is a good script for your own membershipsite or would you recommend something else ?

Can cost $$$

The only one I could honestly recommend is aMember.

I have Googled nearly all other Membership software from $0 to $50k+.
My clear decision for aMember was because of the affordable price and the great number of 3rd party software integration like WordPress or Joomla, PHPBB or vBulletin aso.

On their feature site:
Code:
http://www.amember.com/p/main/features/
they show "60+ third party payment processors supported"
Code:
http://www.amember.com/p/main/paysystems/
and "30+ third party scripts integrations available"
Code:
http://www.amember.com/p/main/integrations/
Other important points for me were the build in affiliate system, dripfeed content, coupons, mail management (you don't need Aweber ;) )

My first version was a download from here to test it in a closed folder .. but bought it after some days.
Like all software you have not written yourself, you have to wrap your mind around, why and how the programmer made it just that way .. but after a short time you will be familiar with it.

Edit:
If you decide to buy .. I have some coupon codes.

hmm there is no gradual content delivery to hold the members

Gradual Content delivery functionality. Separate plugin.
Allows for gradual prescheduled release of premium content to members (content dripping). Gives you benefits of:
* Older members will progressively get access to more content
* Content protection again leechers
* Longer staying paying members with recurring payment membership sites.
* Ability to launch multiple membership site portals operating on autopilot without your direct day to day involvement in a content release process.

the best membership script i have seen was DAP (digital access pass)...it cost a few dollars but it is constantly being updated and it does more things than u will prolly ever need

They are all good, but you need to see the reviews first. Google them, dont be afraid and then see some demo's. See what they offer, the price, support and then mark whats important to you - then buy the product is right to your needs.
Take care
