This site is obviously a baby site and still in early stages of development.

I was wondering if some membership site people could give me some pointers about what direction to move in from here.

I also obviously plan on monetizing it in the future

In addition It has free signups until May 31st for BHW members

I have to agree with the others about the green. I literally feel like nuclear radiation is burning my eyes out.

Other things:

1) Make a better logo. It's disjointed and amateurish. Nothing memorable.
2) Fix the title tags
3) Fix the URLs
4) Take Google Analytics out if you plan to have any hope in SERPs.

Otherwise.. nice site

Well, my impression after spending ten seconds on your site:
- I have no freaking idea of what the site is about.
- Unprofessional (weird pictures).
- My eyes hurt.

Here is my impressions:
1. More like comedy/funny site than membership site
2. Theme is not good and unprofessional, if you are using cms/wordpress, find better theme from theme download section.
3. Too much green
4. Think more about what membership model that you will use
5. Optimize on site SEO

1. Yellow/Green is def hard on the eyes.
2. Get a better logo (this one looks amatureish)
3. Without really trying it is hard to determine what the site is about
4. Text is hard to read against yellow background
5. Move the "LOGIN" to the top of the page, not the bottom
6. Come up with an Eye-Catching Catch phrase to put at the top of the page with a subtitle to give more insight into what the site is about.

I second this suggestion. If you can announce what the site is about from the get go it would eliminate a lot of confusion. Something like:

Get some Laughs, Make Some Money

Get Paid to Make People Laugh

Upload Funny Pictures and Get Paid

Make Money Laughing

Something like that.. I don't know who your target is. Teenagers? Old people? Gen Xers? Girls with acne?

Kidding aside, you really need a more professional graphic, main banner in primis.

Wake up man! THIS is NOT realistic!

What is this site about?
& Why would someone pay to join up?
