I'm interested in turning a series of seminars that I used to teach into online classes since I can't teach them face-to-face any more. I'd like to have it be a membership site where they get access to new modules as they complete the old ones. Ideally I'd like to integrate a forum as well.

I was looking at EZ Lesson Manager from Incansoft but there is no affiliate function built in and I'd like to be able to offer an affiliate program.

Any suggestions on a script to use for this?

I don't know if you are using WP platform but I really like wp wishlist plugin... you automate chapter/subjects week by week or simply activate a particular area until they communicate with you...

Try Moodle. Learning management system. Does what you want out of the box. Free download - run a google search and you'll find it. I've used it many times in a training environment for delivery of text, podcast and vidcast based training modules. Integrates with paypal. It's like the ultimate membership site and could probably be adapted to other purposes such as adult vid delivery, etc.
