Hello,
i have a customer who wants to make an online newspaper. So far so good i want to use Wordpress for him as it is easy to work with and can be customized easily.

The Problem is i dont know which membership plugin to use to only show teaser Text and if people want to read the whole thing they have to pay?

Any good suggestions?

I've tried a few plugins... one that I like best (more options and simple to modify) is wpw ishlist

This is what Im looking for as well. I signed up for MediaPass.com but they take 35% of your earnings, so Im looking into a plugin instead.

^Ive been playing around with emember and I dont see that option. I dont really see it on any of these scripts...

MemberWing and whishlist member is good to only show teaser Text

There's a wp membership plugin that does teaser text. I think its in the dl section. I'd post the link but I'm on my phone now.

Are you specifically looking for a MEMBERSHIP plugin? Because as mentioned above, I believe there is a plugin where you can hide content, etc., without having to do the whole membership thing.. Let me see if I can find it.

Magic Members will suit your needs I think.
It has some bugs really but these are not pain in the a**.
You can find it nulled in BHW as I remember and also you can check the product page from;

I would say WPWishlist, that'll do what you want.

^Im using wishlist now, and it's a major pain; it's not even protecting pages. Not impressed.

Im actually using s2member right now and it works perfectly if you edit the conditionals just right.

Does anyone have any member wp member plugins they would be willing to share .

you dont need a plugin, just edit single.php and use php...

follow this logic: If user is registered and is a paid member show full article, if is a guest show X words.

Im running a job site with something similar and I only show the job contact to paid members...
