Just thought i would get that out there. Been bugging me for too long.

Anyways now that is done, i was just wondering do you guys prefer HTML over Wordpress when making your sites.

I have been using HTML, a template i have created to get maximum CTR.

I have seen mimbo style wordpress themes, on plenty of niche sites, but mostly seen them being sold at flippa, i think that is mainly because most people that purchase on flippa look at design, over many things, so sellers just make em all look sexy as hell and then sell em.

So which is best and why?...

I use WP on pretty much all of my "blog" type sites. No Mimbo themes. $79 bucks is a hefty price for a template.

I think the theme/template really depends on what your promoting. I like themes that load fast and are clean. There's a lot of great ones on here. Thesis is a good one, and I believe they still have it in the download section (free).

It's called 'Knick heh' right?

Anyway.. wordpress is your choice and has been my choice for knicheh sites.. go with dosh dosh ugly adsense themes or you can try out thesis which is quite okish too.

Mimbo is excellent but tough to customize I believe.. it's free from developer

Must agree with you there Siddd Mimbo looks fancy, and well is fancy and great, but i thought it would be hard to anything with it, and really only purpose for it is for chucking up a few articles into a newly bought domain and selling it off on flippa.

Had a look at the thesis theme.

Is this a demo of it???

If that isnt the thesis demo, which i dont think it is, can some one link me

That's the demo indeed.. you don't like it? It's the hottest selling theme because big marketers promote them.. It's good with adsense too

And, you know why it's called DIYthemes? DIY = Do It Yourself .. pointless but that's cool
