I am currently making a website where I am giong to need 5000 members.

It will be an investment club. Where all member fees will go directly into investments. So, all members will have an equal share in all investments bought every week, month, year.

every member will be paying approx $5 a week x 5000 members = $25000 / week

$25000 will allow the business to borrow alot more money, meaning more profit for members.

money makes money as you know.

I have put together a team, consisting of web site developer x3, business manager, marketing manager, a researcher, and sales staff.

My only delema is getting 5000 paying members in a short space of time.

Does anyone know the best way to get 5000 members in a short space of time.

I currently have the website guys creating profiles on social networking sites and i have found a website that claims they can get 5000000 clicks to the website but i thought someone here might know a better way.

Every cent will be going into all different investments.

My vision is to continually get the $5 a week payment to reinvest to create a multi million dollar company. If any member for some reason is not happy will have the opportunity to be bought out. ALL members will discuss, and look at profit statements and come to a decision on how much their membership is worth.

Mind you, once someone is a member they will have a log in name and password where they can see exactly the turnover, expenses and profit.

Nothing will be a secret. The plan is to have all members part of the board.

The only work the member has to do is agree or disagree on any investment opportunity myself and the team put forward to the members. SIMPLE.

I hate to sound as a negative view, but moderate profits shared over a 5000 member disbursal, will not be adequate to keep the investment holder interested in a $20 dollar a month investment..

"WoooHooo I made 8 cents this month!!"" ....members will cancel and move on.

Sounds like SCAM HYIP, net is full of those pyramids.... What will you do with that cash to make profit for your members and your team? What kind of profit you will promise to your members? have you ever made any good investments with big cash?

I really like this idea as I have researched various ways to create a syndicate for real estate investing, but unfortunately this would be a securities law violation and one call to the SEC or your states Security regulators would cause you a world of hurt.

This isnt a pyramid, its a ponzi. If ya want help from people here then be honest with your intentions. No legit investor is going to come to a site like this looking for info.

Anyways, I ran a forum with 15k members years ago and was geared toward exactly what your doing. I gained those members in about 3 months and they were from other pyramid/money making forums. My site was super hyped which helped gain the members. Its ashamed i let it go and didn't know the value of what I had back in the day.

yea this is more like a ponzi scam and there are alot of sites doing this. you just payout your members from those new members money

Its not a scam and its not "illegal", but, take it from experience, if you use the words investment you WILL be investigated by the CFTC, and they WILL knock on your door with the police and demand all PC's, Laptops and documents. Not to mention freze your bank accounts simultaniously.

You will HAVE to get a licence do handle other peoples money. Period.

mattem would be nice if you would explain what type of investments. For things like IPOs shares etc then it would be a great idea provided you have all your legals sorted...

If it is ponzi styled then you are shit out of luck, as so many got burned from them some years ago, that most can smell them from a mile away!

Can you explain what type of investments you are going to target. What your legals are like etc Then some of us may be prepared to help so long as it is above board. I am sure you are aware that the investment scene has a whole wider range of legal implecations and licences.
