They say 5 but really it's 3 for me, remember you get shipping credits, just don't select expedited shipping when you do. Amazon gives you a few days before you have to send it out, not including weekends. They don't even keep track of it though.

Lets say they bought something on monday, you do a transfer to your back account that night, gets into your account thursday..you put an order in that day to the retailer..they will ship it out between thursday and sat...it will arrive to your customers house the next week. Most people email me that they are happy it got there 7-10 days. Never had a problem, I just never advertised expedited shipping when I started.

Thanks Cos, if you want to make at least 10k it's going to depend on your product. If your selling TVs and your average profit is $50 a tv, you will need to find your selling percentage first.

Remember you can list many products, and have multiple quantities of that product.

Lets say your selling rate is 20% of the products listed. You have 100 prodcuts up (not hard to put up, you just submit your upc code and selling price) and you list that you have 10 of them each. At $50 a TV that would give your your $10k net.

Amazon doesn't go and research who your supplier is, I've never had one inquiry about it. People are just happy they got their item at a good price.

The only overhead is the time that you put into it. There is no mailing boxes or anything to buy. It's all dropshipping.

As far as the time each day, it does take awhile to get everything set up at first. But once you have your inventory up filling the orders is easy. Go online and order your product then have the retailer ship it.

Could you not just dropship from straight from amazon? You would have the added benefits of the item turning up in amazon packaging which would not raise any flags to the purchaser, and everythings kept under the one roof, it would really simplify things.
Or would amazon figure out what you are doing? If this really works I will be shocked! (in a good way :-) )

-- just looking at amazon uk and it seems the same as the us version, says it allows funds to be emptied once a day. It does say that one of the conditions is that you must ship within 2 days of receiving the order from amazon, which would be impossible to do due to the time it would take to get your money (3 days), but i suppose the only way they will know is if your customers start complaining.

Hey lesaurus...I've dropshipped straight from amazon before, and also used this method when selling on ebay. As far as the 2 day method is not a big deal, I've never had problems.

It doesn't matter cause amazon doesn't have any " Mark As Shipped " Button as Egay . Just make sure that your customers will get their items within the time they expect , then it's fine

anybody does the work around on how to sign up on Amazon with out having a US credit card?
If I want to sign up to amazon com he will ask for a US credit card, in Uk for a uk, and i guess in the other international sites, will be the same.

Ok thanks isaiahz, I've just opened a new seller account and listed 1 item just to go through the process. I now have a normal Amazon account (the one i use normally to buy stuff with) and a new sellers account. These share the same e-mail address and bank account. I am going to try and see if i can sell and then full fill the orders using these two accounts only as i really like the idea of the customers getting their product in an Amazon wrapper. I can tick the gift option or more specifically the "do not show price information" box. If not then I could open a new account no problems. Can't see why they would mind coz they will be creaming the commissions off me!

I noticed that marketplace sellers, or at least the couple i looked at, do not have the option to hide price so this eliminates being able to use them. May be some do and i'm missing something?

Does anyone know if play*co*uk ships with plain packaging or not? this would be a good place to send from- I also noticed that these guys have exactly the same sort of marketplace thing going on - they charge 5% to withdraw to a bank account though.

This method is really just another form of spam. As in the saying "If you throw enough shit at the wall, some of it will stick"

All you are doing is listing items for sale at a high enough price that after all costs and fees are taken into account you still come away with a profit.

There will always be someone who for whatever reason pays these higher prices. Take a look at the market place for any item and you will always see a load of merchants charging way above what the amazon price is - why would they do this?. It seems to me that they would not do this if they never made any sales. They all have feedback some in the thousands.

How do you obtain UPC codes?

Becareful what you sell on there, if your into high ticket items, or certain very popular electronics, aazon will hold any funds for that, until the customer sends in a review that they received the product and was happy with it. this is basically for the NEW accounts that have sold nothing to little.

Be prepared to fork out some cash up front to get good reviews on these items, is all I'm saying.

Wow 5% huh, that's alot...If you order from a marketplace seller, you will have to email them and ask them not to put the price of the product in their, tell them it's a gift.--

I like that you already started, shows alot about you. See how profitable you are at selling above the amazon price...go online and use an amazon profit calc. If you not getting many sales you will have to just find another retailer to ship from.

I have sent thousands and thousands of orders from other retailers, never any problem. I've had a couple people ask...I just tell them my supplier was out of stock and I always make sure my customer gets their product, even if I have to spend more and buy it from a retail store!!!---------

Hey loamigad, when I say dropshipper I reall mean from any online retail store....just search around who has the lowest price online, such as guitarcenter or sweetwater. Then just list and apply what I've said in here.

You can go to amazon and find out how much they charge for commissions on your products, then go online and get an amazon calculator to see how much you have to sell something for

Hey brad, I don't think the fees are high because this covers transaction costs, they give you a shipping credit and you don't have to pay to list. Ebay has listing fees, closing fees, no shipping credit and a paypal fee, thus FEEEEEBAY! lol

I've done well over 10k monthly nothing is theoretical in these examples all proven and tested. Just wanted to give other people a chance to make some money.

That's true, buy low sell high, most stuff you can find so cheap online and resell it for higher and still beat amazons price.

get upc codes from just about any retail store online under the product description. Amazon has it on alot of their products too. Easy to find.

you can sell on asia at amazon.cn
you don't use paypal, you use their checkout system...it's good no extra fees like feebay
no money to invest, people are sending you the money to go buy the stuff...kind of like a car broker. Only thing is time.

Why not use dropshippers?

Not all retailers would allow you to ship to addresses other than your billing. And MOST also include an invoice with your name and address, and well as the ACTUAL price of the product. Even if you specify not to, they usually still put it in there because in warehouses they are speed packaging orders. So I would watch out and maybe even buy from only real dropshippers or just buy and ship it yourself.

Thanks OP, I love this. Gonna jump in headfirst after I get a few projects in progress laid down. I had a couple of one night stands with Ebay and did really well, and managed to keep my pp/egay accounts in the process. It was, however, FUCKING ANNOYING. Amazon seems like a cakewalk compared. Someone earlier mentioned something along the lines of "dumbasses probably think it all comes from Amazon"... yep... that was me.

Edit: For the record, when I order stuff like that I just rip open the packaging as mentioned before and just check out the product. Most of the time I don't even remember who I ordered it from, I just remember ITEM. Now if something is horribly wrong with ITEM, that's when I start caring where it came from.

You can apply if your overseas without that. Just go to your countries site, such as amazon.cn or amazon.co.uk....you can then sell
