Anyways i want to challenge you all today on one thing.

Each of you I want to make a thread about a money making tactic that works for you details and how you do it.

I think this would be a great idea for everyone to boost a little network of friends, and if you havent posted yet it would be a great oportunity

Hope some of you or all will take this challenge, and you will all learn from it.

Or even a little tip that anyone could find useful.

I participated in 3 Marketing forums for about 2 months and answered questions and helped out as much as I could.

The Result?

Lesson? Dont be a dickwad and burn bridges in any forums.

I was going to put up something pretty in depth, but then I realized that a lot of members may not have any startup cash or page building knowledge, so I figured I'd throw up a simple Craigslist tactic that makes me about $120-$160 a day.

Basically it's all about posting help wanted ads in sections like "customer service" "office help" anywhere where a telecommute position could be offered.

Make your ad look good, something like "We are a cutting edge software firm seeking an experienced customer service rep. The qualified candidate should have moderate knowledge of Microsoft office, email, and excellent communication skills, telecommute is offered for the right applicant. Please forward a resume and cover letter for consideration."

By posting variations of this ad talking about different types of companies looking to fill different types of positions in numerous cities, you'll receive literally hundreds of resumes a day. Just make sure you include the word "telecommute" in the ad, and also check the "telecommute ok" box before submitting.

I grab all the emails, wait about a week, and then start sending them a few affiliate offers about work from home jobs, telecommute placement companies etc. I have their name and say in the email that they are receiving the ad because they requested information on available positions in _____<---whatever position they applied for, so it all looks legit and I always give them a place to unsubscribe to add even more legitimacy.

Now that's the simple way, and I should mention DO NOT USE AN AUTORESPONDER, not only will it basically show the applicant that you are fake, but it will get you ad flagged in minutes. Instead grab the emails and throw them in an excel sheet for mailings about a week later.

Want to get even more in depth and make some serious money each day? Of course you do, but it takes a little internet and phone work.....

Many staffing agencies, temp and otherwise offer a referral fee for anyone you as a "headhunter" bring to them.

So let's you posted your ad in Tampa Bay CL, you'll be getting about 30 resumes within a day from the Tampa area and also a few random ones, but we're only worried about Tampa right now. Now you do a search for "staffing agencies tampa" and no doubt there will be 30 of them in the tampa area. Call them up and say "Hi I was wondering if you offer a referral fee for placing applicants with your firm" Many will offer this, if they say no, ask to speak to a manager and let them know you can send dozens of new applicants each week.

Sounds crazy, but most people don't think to use a staffing agency, and the competition between staffing firms is so fierce that they want as many resumes as they can get on file. Most firms have no idea how to market online because they are primarily local and don't see the point in doing anything but getting in the yellow pages and being listed with the chamber of commerce. You as an internet marketer can exploit this and make a very nice income grabbing resumes for dozens of cities.

If you like to keep it simple, the email method works just fine by itself for a nice average each month of about $120 a day. Hope it helps.

Alright, I posted a little Craigslist tactic that should be up shortly. But antx16 hit it right on the head. We had a news story profiling some beggers here and the bastards were making between 50k and 70k a year tax free.

Better yet, when I was in high school about 12 years ago there was a bum who used to go around the city in a shitty pick up truck all day collecting cans to deposit. We always felt bad for the guy but then came to find out he had a real nice house, and a brand new toyota camry sitting in the driveway next to his pick up.

I guess if you know where to get the most cans each day you can make a very nice living, maybe some of the members complaining they have no cash to invest in an online business can take that up.

The only thing Im making money on at the moment is domain squatting. Have a bunch of poker typos and pokersitedomains with exotic TLDs. Not enough to quit my dayjob, but I quit anyway

Have to agree with antx16, seems to work well in America also. Also Nice tip Nevarc. I really don't have a special method, but this is what I do.
I use RssEvolution to build sites on niche markets and load the pages with adsense ads. I also have some clickbank sites. I link em up. I have some blogs and a few spam forums I post to every day. I take a paragraph off a different page and link link to it from the blog post. I use some software to generate links, also just this week I have been expiermenting with some cookie stuffing also on some of my pages.
Like Ruck pointed out I also try to help people and answer questions, if I can, or try to help them find an answer. You never know where IM friendships can lead you. Either a customer, affiliate or a referral source. Or just a friendship that you can share ideas and tactics with.
I have been thinking about starting some different methods and doing more with videos and social sites like face book. Look forward to reading the post. Good thread Harro.

yep that exactly what i meant buddy i mean they arrested a group of 20 of them lately , they had kids begging as well , they estimated they had a fortune of 20 million euros in property in there own country of romania,

Alright, heres a "method" I use that makes you money basically guaranteed: (btw, this is quite blackhat, and I think most of the ppl know about this one)

This is as simple as hell, and takes almost no work. All you have to do is exploit adwords' free advertiseing credits and cheap vouchers you can buy at places like DP.

Go over to google and type in some highly searched keyword term right now. Type in something like "how to make money online" or "fat loss". Notice that the "Sponsored Links" pages are packed with ads. Alot of people (and most of them affiliates) want their own little 120 word message to be shown and seen. Their paying big bucks for those advertisements, and not because their feeling so gracious as to simply just tell the world of a nice little website (and how surpriseing > product too) that they think is sympathetic. Their paying big per click with the hopes of making a profit.

And alot of the ppl that do google-adword their ads, after the commissions (-) ppc investment equation outcome, end up making decent moolah. So if they can make profits in the end, after sending google upfront their cold-hard cash, paying for all ad costs in full, don't you think you can make some nice money by simple using googles' free advertiseing credits? You'd be a dumbass if you couldnt.
Even if you would execute a campaign that would theoretically make you only "break even" on your ppc cost vs. sales, youd still be in profit, because you got the advertiseing credits for far below what they were worth.

I have a friend who I buy $50 activated adwords accounts from for $6. So If I do is make a theoretical "break even" campaign, Im still $44 in profit, and remember, thats only if I break even. Not bad, knowing It only takes about 10 minutes to find some clickbank or other product I want to sell and write a 120 word ad in my adwords account.

There is a drawback of this method however. I want to warn you ahead of the time if this is new for you and you want to try this out.

Unfortunately, due to simple human nature, after you find out you can get so much under-real-cost adwords advertiseing, you start to get lazy and kinda careless. And you get lazy and careless really fast.

You end up not really careing about thinking too much of what the best ad message would be, you dont care about researching and finding the most profitable keywords/products/Max bid value combination, and you dont really take efforts to improveing your ads after they go up, let alone "tweak" them.

You find some catchy, probably popular clickbank ebook to promote, you just copy & paste in the adword ad they themselves provide you, and then you crank up the max bid to some sure-dominateing value like $3, $4 or even $5 per click max-bid, ensureing you'll definately get premium placement (although of course, you dont pay that much, you just pay a little higher then all the rest of the advertisers). And you know what? You dont care, since you know your going to be making profit in the end no matter what and so it doesnt really matter anyway. Even with top-end ppc bids, your still almost guaranteed to make a profit or at the very-very least, break (truely) even, since you bought $50 credits for only a measly $6.
Well at least, thats what happened to me. But Im making changes to that now.

So there you have it. Another surefire method for you guys on how to make some decent money online.

this is an awesome thread. there are so many good posts here it's crazy. Thanks to all the folk who shared their tactics. I do not make any money online but it is cause i am all over the place you know, downloading this and downloading that. I made 500$ as an affiliate of a person who tricked the whole group and ran away without paying our commissions. But i was very naive and new then.

I like the craigslist ideas - I fell for one those ads a few times actually since the ad was worded just well enough to get me to reply to it. However once I recognized what type of "offer" it really was within a second, I just closed the window.

The link in my email led me to a site where there were supposedly going to be job listings for a fee. That part immediately killed the mood when the fee was mentioned.

In fact, I love all these damn ideas!

Here's an idea I've come up with but I just haven't had the time to try, since I'm working on other projects from 16 to 18 hours a day, everyday.

You've probably seen those 'leads' websites where you can get 2,000 leads everyday for a monthly fee. They are real leads and include full information, such as IP address, name, email address, mailing address, telephone, etc. These are people that have signed up because they're interested in making money online.

A marketing buddy of mine, Michael Nicholas, tried using those leads one time, but his results were not worth the effort. However, I think he may have taken the wrong approach by just importing the leads into his regular mailing list.

Instead, I think you need to send a few 'warm-up' messages in order to build a good relationship, then try to sell to them later on.

Anyway, here's my step-by-step idea -

1) Find a good deal for lots of internet marketing related products that come with resale rights. I'm sure you've seen the offers where you can get 150 or 200 resale rights products for $50 or so. Go ahead and buy a good package or maybe even find one on this forum that you can download at no cost.

2) Go ahead and sign up for one of those lead offers, where you can get 60,000 leads per month for a few dollars.

3) Create an autoresponder sequence and start out only with the purpose of building a relationship.

4) In every message you send, be sure to include a free download link to one of the resale products you have.

5) After the first few messages, in which you've built rapport, you can also start including a sales pitch, either for an affiliate product, a CPA offer, or anything else that you're selling.

Let's face it - everybody likes to get something of value for free. If you spent $50 for the 200 or so resale products, that means that you can send 200 messages, each with a free valuable gift.

I'd suspect that most people would stay subscribed and not want to miss any of your messages because of the free gift, so that means that you'll have about 200 chances to sell them something.

If you import 60,000 leads per month and even 75% of them drop out right away, that still leaves you with 15,000 new and active subscribers every month.

Now, let's do some math -

Let's say that just starting out, you have 15,000 subscribers out of the 60,000 you started with. You send them 2 or 3 messages a week thru your autoresponder, so it's almost effortless for you once you have things set up.

Let's assume that you're pitching affiliate products, CPA offers, etc and your average profit per sale is $10. Of course with most affiliate products, you stand to make more than $10, but we'll use the $10 amount just to be conservative.

OK, you have 15,000 people and we'll assume that your conversion rate is only 1% on each offer. Since you are sending out about ten offers per month, times 15,000 people, you're looking at 150,000 offers. And at a conversion rate of 1%, that means about 1500 sales for the month.

Considering an average profit of $10 per sale, that means that you would make $15,000 at the end of the first month. Of course, if things remained like this, at the end of the second month, you'd have twice as many subscribers, so your income could potentially be $30,000.

Of course, the success of this project would be dependent upon how skillfully you craft your email messages, the level of rapport you build, the products for sale you promote and the desirability of the gifts you offer.

Do you think this is a workable idea, or am I way off base here? Any thoughts?

Well it is a good idea but I think it is pretty common! You would have to truly find some great products to catch my interest... Alot of marketers now adays use this method. Some Im sure work though!

I'm sure you wouldn't be too interested in being on such a list, but don't forget - not everybody is as smart as you are!

You may have been around the block a few times and you know what's happening. But most of the people that comprise these leads are total newbies.

They aren't aware of resale rights packages, or even autoresponders. If you can catch them early, before they become jaded by all the hucksters out there, you stand a pretty good chance of building a valuable relationship with them.

Think about this - Let's suppose that you're successful at building trust and a good relationship with these people. You've communicated with them several times, offering them good advice and useful ebooks, reports and software for free. Now, when you introduce them to the latest Affiliate X or whatever the newest product is, who are they most likely to buy from - you, or some slick huckster they never heard of?

If you have the time, give this idea a try - it might just be a winner for you.

if he gives me the detail of his suppliers i will post it here i think there is really good money to be made on ebay and i like it because u don`t have to wait for the end of the month and then another 15 days to get paid

Pretty common idea here, and pretty simple. I made about $8K last year by simply hunting through Yahoo Answers, finding niches that had a lot of questions/ answers, and posting answers that directed to topic-based Adsense pages I created. It didn't matter the niche, it was simply filling demand for a topic that was hot. Yahoo Answers is really targeted, so the click through rates were pretty high for me. Got another $2-3K with Clickbank and CJ.

I used to sell on Ebay a few of years ago and selling info products made a net profit of about $2500 a week after all expenses. Then Ebay changed their rules regarding the placement of info product ads. I was placing mine on the front page of Ebay, so I got a lot of action. Their new rules placed info products in a much more obscure area, so page views (and sales) fell off drastically.

Since then, I've always been watching out for good product sources where I can get products that are in demand at prices that would allow me to be competitive on Ebay while still making a worthwhile profit. I have seen many supposedly 'wholesale supplier lists', but none of them were any good.

If you can post the details of your friend's suppliers, I would certainly like to see it.

well i am just going to start to do this, i have good friends making money with ebay and if u do it properly it can be a goldmine, one of them is earning 80k per month, but his technique it`s really private, even if i get him to share that with me i wont be able to give it away

the point is that ebay can produce a ton of money, so... just one more idea for the post, if i get the suppliers details i will gladly post them here ebay i growing everyday, 6 years ago was only the little scope of the future, right now it`s one of the finest markets and it will keep growing, 200,000 searches per month on the word ebay (that`s amazing)

ebay doesn't work any more. I'm still an ebay platinum power seller for an extra month maybe, but I removed all my products from ebay over 40000 items in electronics and other categories. i made around $60,000 in sales a month but after paying the distributors, ebay and all expenses I don't make much for the hours I put in.

FYI ebay just raised their fees on feb 20th. It's just rediculus, many sellers are leaving ebay. I pay them around $6000 a month in fees. just imagine having your own website with your inventory and spending $6000 in advertising, you would be making a lot more and not having to share it with ebay.

When I started ebay 6 years ago the fee was 2.5%, now it's over 8% (depending on fvf) for auctions and LISTEN TO THIS over 12% for store inventory. another thing is there is big companies that are selling on ebay for the same price you get your products from your dropshipper. that means you need to keep your profit very low to even have a chance to compete with the big companies selling on ebay.
a negative about using dropshippers is that they all have handling fees, also you might sell items that could be on backorder which gets your buyer pissed and might get you suspended. Ebay can suspend you for any reason and they only notify you when they close your account. you find yourself jobless in a second

one profit I didn't expect was from youtube
I purchased tubeinator and started sending friend requests to users that are in internet marketing. I had about 1500 contacts in less than1 week. i promote a high ticket item on youtube. a heavy hitter from another program found out about the program I'm in thru the friend request I sent him and signed up under me along with 20 people in his downline. I made over $3500 in 6 hours. that was all thanks to tubeinator. I decided to make a video about tubeinator and link it to my affiliate link, they pay 50% commission. the video took me about 30mn to make and upload then I clicked on share and shared it with the list of contacts I had on youtube. I made $300 that same day in refferals. total was around $600 for the month of february for a 30mn of work. the item is only $42 imagine if it was $200 or more.

What a great thread. A few easy ways to make cash (nothing new but works).

Proxie networks.
build small niche sites (3-5) pages and sell.
Buy small sites clean up and flip.
Craigslist- sell special event tickets. Stubhub affiliate, yahoo e-mails set on vacation response (act like you had no luck selling now selling thru broker) Right now I have had great response for NCAA BB Tournament in tourny cities.
Domain names-investing, parked pages, auctions.

And MY favorite is PPC Campaign Blasting (if search forum there is a great series of "campaign blasting" e-books. Well written.)

The first thing you should do is study internet marketing, you can do it many ways by reading ebooks, see videos and that kind off stuff.

But i wanna give you guys a fast way to make a product and earn some money.

You are going to make a ebook, first find a subject, it can be about traning dogs , how to be a player and all that stuff use your brain, then go to a forum or a article website a search for your subject, lets search for traning dog forum, then we can see all these articles about traning dogs ask the poster/writer

Hi i have seen your article and thats pretty good are going to make a book about traning dogs can i use yours.

You are better to english than me but i know what i mean.

Then find 10 - 30 articles take all the stuff into a ebook and now you have a finish product.

Now you need to make a website for your product if you dont now how to do that you havent study'ed enough :P, but you can allways use some indian guy they are cheap, getafreelancer.com, when you.

And thats it, i adwords, youtube, myspace to promote your product.

- make him understand that the site which will hire him is a very valuable one so in order to sign up you have to confirm your information in the resume
so we provide a phone number and a couple of IM addies of (agents) ,he need to talk with them personally and answer questions

- we don't give him the magic link right away.. no ....after sometime we say something like this "your resume have been approved go sign up here and... "

ok guys this is my method to make a little money every day. Your not gonna make thousands, but if ur just starting out u can use it to earn some cash-

create a sexy myspace profile and say that ur into sales etc.
sign up wit CJ and look for some good pay for lead programs.

get chatting to allthe guys that want to add you. take ur time and build a nice relatinship. then tell em ur way behind ur targets at work and can they help out by siging up for a particulay product. BINGO.

once u get a good feel for this u can realy zoom in.

Like i said u aint gonna gt rich doing this, but it should oil the wheels.

Wouldn't that be a lot of work just to make 20 or 30 doll.? Seems like it may take a few days or hrs. or chatting just to get em to sign up for your cpa offer. Then gotta start over working new friends. Use your friends wisely.

I sold a domain recently for over 600k. I think I got in at the right time with little competition and got out at the right time (due to increased competition.) It grossed 1.4 mil year for 6 years straight. It was an online store selling the same things I sell in my brick & mortar hair salon. Of course I busted my ass doing link exchanges and stuff like that. Now, I'd like to not work so hard making the money so I'm reading everything I can on this wonderful site. I don't want to deal with the headache of inventory ever ever again! God, there MUST be something easier!

You go and find hot resell rights products with good salesletters. Not just a product....a good package of resell rights products. You start selling it imedialtly cause of the allready made salesletter.

But here's the twist. You don't send the visitors directly to the sales letter. Insted you use a squueze page where you offer something of great value...so they become your subscribers. You then follow up with them and your conversion will be anyway much higher than just sending them directly to the sales page. And now here comes the best part of this method: you offer your clients the facility to set them up with their own site.

I guarantee you that many of them doesn't know hw to set up a website. And of course you set up their sites thru your affiliate links. The profits....huge !!!!

Time needed to start this method....under one they.

I've made more than 100k last year with this one...and I ended up also with a lot of targeted lists in many niches.

like your idea, but I have never found a recommended leads site, why would they sell leads when they could make more money using the list, and how many people have they sold the list to? Then again it is a numbers game.
Have you used a leads broker, or can you recommend one that someone you know has used?

Since I am not yet at the stage of making consistent money I really could use anyone/everyone's help.

In the meantime I did devise a way to come up with free articles which I will share.

I realise that moving my site up the big G rankings is to do with getting good backlinks and that one way to create them was by posting articles at good sites like ezine but I find it hard to come up with new things to write about.

Instead I type a phrase into babelfish and translate it into (say) French. Then go to Google France and search for articles on that phrase. I then get G to translate them back to English and clean them up to make better sense. Et Voila an istant free (ish) article.

Is this an idea that has been talked about before or did I create something myself?

Anyway, back to the plot, if anyone could help me push a new site up the rankings I would be extremely grateful.

I have heard about using translation methods to make original articles. Mostly they have been >find article in English>translate said article to whatever language>translate back to English.

Word order and phrases are translated differently ect.


Truth be told I think your idea is MUCH better and workable. If the thanks button was still here I would give you props for that.

Now that's the simple way, and I should mention DO NOT USE AN AUTORESPONDER, not only will it basically show the applicant that you are fake, but it will get you ad flagged in minutes. Instead grab the emails and throw them in an excel sheet for mailings about a week later.

Want to get even more in depth and make some serious money each day? Of course you do, but it takes a little internet and phone work.....

Many staffing agencies, temp and otherwise offer a referral fee for anyone you as a "headhunter" bring to them.

So let's you posted your ad in Tampa Bay CL, you'll be getting about 30 resumes within a day from the Tampa area and also a few random ones, but we're only worried about Tampa right now. Now you do a search for "staffing agencies tampa" and no doubt there will be 30 of them in the tampa area. Call them up and say "Hi I was wondering if you offer a referral fee for placing applicants with your firm" Many will offer this, if they say no, ask to speak to a manager and let them know you can send dozens of new applicants each week.

Sounds crazy, but most people don't think to use a staffing agency, and the competition between staffing firms is so fierce that they want as many resumes as they can get on file. Most firms have no idea how to market online because they are primarily local and don't see the point in doing anything but getting in the yellow pages and being listed with the chamber of commerce. You as an internet marketer can exploit this and make a very nice income grabbing resumes for dozens of cities.

If you like to keep it simple, the email method works just fine by itself for a nice average each month of about $120 a day. Hope it helps.

Is this 100% legal? Seeing as how you get all of these peoples resumes and stuff. I really want to start doing this because it's a fantastic idea, but I just want to make sure first.

Alright guys I am going to show a method with you I implemented back when I was getting started. To start you can make at least $1,000 a mo. ,more if you work on it...

Pretty simple method basically you go to a forum (digitalpoint,sitepoint,etc.) and go the section where people are looking to get jobs done (I found the most success in content and web design). Then you go secure a job from one of these forums and proceed to go to a site like scriptlance and hire some indians for $2-3 an hour, you can easily make a 30-50% profit margin.

Now probably the most important parts here is being good at getting jobs number one and getting a healthy profit margin. Number one tip don't have them come to you, you go to then. If you really want to make a couple grand pm a person asking for the service do not open a service thread.
Number two is use a nice message when you pm these prospects a stadard one that I developed goes like "Hello I am contacting you in regards to the post you made inquiring blank blank. Talk Yourself up here...(I have been in the busines for several years and have worked on many projects like this one, etc.). Then close it with something like (Thankyou and I am looking forward to working together.)
Another good thing is to develop a decent site for your service that will increase the closure ratio and you can sell it, if your just offering the service you can not sell the service but if you have a site and are promoting the service and making a couple k a month or even one k you can sell the site for maybe four or five k.
