Forget the read more section. Just leave it,, copy paste 3-4 lines.. NO READ MORE.. Just freaking ignore it..

ernest, I am trying to automate the readmore link appearing... so I don't have to go through and right click every post when automating content

I cannot afford to pay for article writing yet: even with your instructions i cannot get it to work as perscribed

edit: even with your instructions I still cannot get it to show the partial article when see more is clicked

Great outlined tutorial, this is the reason why n00bs should use the search when they are looking for a way to make money, it can be much clearer then this.

Ok listen carefully.

1) click the title of the article summary that you want to link to
2) look up at the address bar in your browser
3) copy the the http:// etc. that you see in that address
4) go to where you edit the post
5) highlight the words "read more" that you wrote at the end of the summary
6) click the "link" icon above the article in your editor
7) paste that http link you just copied into the field where it asks for the http
8) click save
9) view your blog.
10) click the link that says read more.
11) be sure that when you click it you go right back to your article summary
12) you should still be right where you started

That is all, I'm going for a beer now.

Come on guys, its as plain as english.... The posts you write are to do with your niche, I dont think hes willing to sort all your content..

This is a real good plan of action, easy to follow.. All thats missing is you adding content.. Once you get you head into gear and start making some posts you should have a good idea as to what content you need...

Try using g00gle keyword tool for your selected niche and write posts relative to those keywords/phrases..

2-3 lines is enough, as hes already stated.

My understanding is to make some small posts (2-3lines) the read more link that takes them back to the same post will frustrate people making them think (click) outside the box, i.e. on your ads.. This is how ive understood this method...

you will not write it yourself. just use wp-o-matic plugin or caffeinated content etc plugin to get the posts.

the read more link link it to "#" and then the page will just flash and they will stay there if your really too lazy to copy the actual link... the point is its a link they will click thta wont work so they will most likely go on to try to click another link, preferably and likely the adsense block link.

its not "more content" its a trick to push them to try to click a different link on the page and not leave your site... why was this so hard to understand?

in his directions is says it does not go back to your homepage..that is the simple way of linking...the hard way is getting it to link back to just a summary of the article, or the exact postion of the article on the home page

The reason this will work is because you are only posting the article summary in the first place. You "do not ever put" the entire article on your site nor a link to the original. You only make it appear as if there is more to the article by adding the read more link.

Ok, I think I see what you are saying here. The part I wrote about clicking on the title to the article summary is so that you get the exact web address for that specific summary that you are working on. If you take the http after you click on the article title, not before, you will have a direct link to your summary.

This is a brilliant idea people. It is easy to understand. Just read it again and again if you don't get it the first time because the answers are all there in front of you. This is a case of doing the opposite from everyone else to make good money. Instead of writing pages and pages of free information and putting it up, the way we have all been told to do for the past two years, You write just enough to leave the reader looking for the other part of the article, review, or whatever it is your blog is about.

I know how to get the direct link to my article, however it shows the whole article... I am working on a way to just post a summary again on the article page... oh well

do you suggest re-writing/wording the 200 some odd posts syndicated via wp-o-matic or just run with what you get?

Ernest, once you've got the first 200 posts using an rss aggregator or whatever, do you then stop them posts coming, or do you let them continue while also manually posting the "trick" posts and the daily original articles?

I have idea how if this methode applied on blogspot ?. we can use bloggerposter to autopost summary articles based on niche rss feed to our blogspot & dont forget to make "read more" code in our blogspot template. but we must add tag manually in blogspot. so we can apply this methode & make more blogs without investment.

2) Then on the modified version you only added a few lines of content and fake comments and that was all your content?

I checked blog Ernest gave us to look into as example..(find it on 1st page duh)

Main page has no adds, just pictures (other blogs could have summaries with read more link)

When visitor clicks on read more OR title, it transports him (her) to single post page that has the same picture (short post) below add block.(add block on top)

That way he is posting just one add block per page....(3 allowed) and visitor can do 3 things....click on other title from sidebar and end up on another simmilar page, click on one of adds or leave...


Just perfect....I have seen news blogs like Wonketa...using similar tactic with link to actual news site though but the principle is all the same. Short entry that leads you to actual post or in our case spins you into frustration and into leaving by clicking on one of our high paying adds.......

I love success stories, Yes tags is easier to rising high in serp, I use this method for 5 month but not autoblog, but too bad last week my blog get de indexed, maybe because the template, dup content, and PTR. I will try this again thank you Ernest.

This little revelation here is juuuuuuusssssst about genius in itself.
Kind of sounds like using RSS feeds for content might work since you're looking for
keywords in Titles followed with a bare minimum of content.

Ernest: I think this no-ads-on-first-page--posts-have-only-summary-read-more-and-ads-are-showing -thing could work with autoblogs too. In a matter of fact, techchuck.com (one of the coolest autoblog IMO) seem to have this type of use of ads.

hmm the way you said that it make sme wonder, basically you could do this kind of like a wordpress-interterstrial-adsense block.... thats a interesting idea if you ask me, basically to load a post you have to go through an adsense page that has the article hiddne, then you click readmore and the article gets displayed... hmmm i wonder if some css magic could be done to handle this...

This is unbelievably pro. I am going to try a few of these myself.
Don't do digital cameras people.
Here would be an example of something that I think would work.
Collectibles, Antiques, Electronics.

For example create a site with descriptions of Coach purses and just review different models. If there was say an affiliate program for Coach handbags you would be set.

Pick a niche topic with a ton of different models. Write a review on each model. Have adsense and an affiliate program for that product.

I actually thought about this, just never got around to trying it.

Ernest is right about the wordpress tags, I get search engine traffic from the tags, just make sure they are very specific tags and don't include more than a few per post.

I have a niche that I know no one else has targeted and it is very popular. (I used to sell this product). Time to hit it up maybe.
