Hey guys. I am somewhat new to CPA's and tonight I made 120 dollars in less than 2 hours on my campaign from MaxBounty. If I have a high conversion rate will they red flag me? Tonight I got 5 clicks and 4 actions. Thus, I have an 80% conversion rate.

Lastly, I posted the link I used to refer people on a different blogger site than the one I signed up with. The reason why, because I needed a more beleivable blog name. Something more personal. Could that screw me over on receiving my money?

Normally you want to keep a low conversion rate and 80% is actually pretty high haha. You should check out http://cashtactics.net, he's got a ton of information about cpa there.

You should be fine about the different referral url, but if you're asked, just tell them the truth.

Thanks for the reply. How often do CPAs check their affiliates conversions? I am just scared I won't get that money. Even though it took two hours, it took a lot of convincing. Should I just go ahead and get some cheap hits to lower down the conversion maybe? If so, do you know any dirt cheap places to get some?

And by the way, to anyone else that is reading this. Rucks blog is a great place to get ideas and inspiration. I only got 2 hours of seep last night because of it! See the Wealthy's post above for the link.

I'm not entirely sure how often they check your stats, but perhaps someone else here may have the answer. Anyone?
Also, you might have better luck asking Ruck the question on his forum. He is the cpa guru and I'm sure he'll have an answer.

UPDATE: My account at MaxBounty was terminated this morning. I guess we can say that High Conversions are bad! At least with MaxBounty. I really don't care about 120 dollars. But I am pissed off because I lost about 2 hours of my time last night.

to keep my conversion rate down. i usually get free traffic from http://www.trafficg.com or you can invest in some visitors...i believe there are sites out there that will send x amount of visitors to your site for x amount of $

kep your conversion rate down!!!!

with high conversion rate they will think something suspicious about your acount and they will terminate your account....

i would keep it less thsn 20 percent

i was with you creditcoop. this was the first time hearing about hit blog and i was up all night reading too!

But, if you are getting a high conversion rate, and you're not doing ANYTHING suspicious, then there shouldn't be any reason for you to "beat around the bush" you're playing legit, you're just playing it good, speak to your Affiliate Manager and you should be good 2 go.

moneymakerray, i would have to disagree. Those cpa networks get very suspicious when you have a conversion rate of 80%....you have to keep it below 15% in my estimation. The lower the rate, the better. High rates will raise red flags.

UPDATE: My account at MaxBounty was cancelled. They sent me an email saying I was committing fraud. I don't know if I really was being fraudulent. The Affiliate Manager won't even talk to me now. Oh well, off to Rocket Profit and Neverblueads. So yes, higg conversion rates will get you terminated.

you should have listened 2 me!!

i hpoe u make more money

yep, despite what anyone says, that high conversion rate will get you the boot everytime.

I have a feeling you were paying others to complete offers for you, in which case that is against the ToS of most Affiliate Networks.

If you were doing things legit though, and have made aware to your Affiliate Manager about the problems, then you really should be good to go as long as you are abiding by their ToS.

You can try to work out the problem my talking DIRECTLY to the Maxbounty Owner (I think his name is Steve??) I had a problem with my account one time and I explained it to him and I got it back the same day and he paid me my canceled earnings

I don't know if I really was being fraudulent.

Umm yes you sneak that would probably indicate that you were doing fraud.

If you dont know, then dont do. Had I seen this sooner I would have jumped it. You dont fuck with Maxbounty. Steve and Adam are super sharp.

In other news, I am pretty sure I know who you are
and what you were doing. This is a no-no anywhere but
with MXB it's a no-no you wont get away with.;)

If your getting a high conversion rate legitly then you wont have any problems. It requires constant updating
and being completely upfront with them. I sold Green Tea at 75% at $32 CPA during a 6 day stretch and raped
the living fuck out of it. I'm not going to share how I did but it was 100% legit and I kept them in the loop
every step of the way. The idea is not going against the industry normals. However, if you got your shit together
and know what your doing this can be beat. If your doing it in a non legit manner then it works the same way except
you really need to display the same confidence as you would with a legit campaign.

The best backstabbing CPA raping snakes are the ones who dont run. The more confidence you can show,
the better you can hide your shit, the better you can run circles in this industry.

I am not going to go into detail about what is accepted and what is not accepted. These people work on margins
and I can tell you right now that if you make them LOOK stupid then your going to get canned.

Sorry to tell you , but if you are so damn stupid as to make 4 leads out of 5 clicks for a high paying offer (you said you made 120$ on 5 leads)- using blackhat methods- then you did not deserve the money. To know a blackhat method is easy. To be able to apply a blackhat method and NOT got busted is an art. I learned that in the old days of domain parking-around 1 year ago- when i got banned by almost all companies i can think of. It takes a lot of patience and preparation to be able to sustain a blackhat method and earn consistently with it month after month, without getting banned. Some people may think that blackhat is for quick cash, you do it and move out of here. I always mix blackhat techniques with whitehat techniques, and use them for long term and this is a killer to protect your ass. For instance, are you blackhatting cpa network? Then do not fucking go and send to them 100% invalid leads, cause obviously they will bust you. Send a mixture of normal leads and invalid leads, in a proper ratio. This will keep you out of the banning range.

And yeah, i did blackhat cpas on maxbounty, but in the same time i sent to them also good traffic. That s the way i did not get banned.

I see this general pattern that people who are NOT able to make a living using white hat techniques, go and think that blackhat is something much easier. The fact is that blackhat is above whitehat. The best blackhatter are those who know perfectly how the system works in the white hat way, and then tweak it for blackhat purposes.

Conclusion: Do some research and protect your ass better next time. If you go with the same approach at other companies, then no wonder that you are going to get banned.

Then Again Nick Flame

Live & Learn, if he never had this mistake, he would have never learned from it, lets just be glad that he only lost a relatively small amount ($120 compared to doing it for the whole month and not getting anything)

& Hey Ruck, I thought you quit this forum? I recently just came back in.

Oh yeah, and I just wanted to say you guys might wanna be a bit more aware of your Word Choice. Don't wanna admit anything in public that you might later regret.

Is promoting a CPA on craigslist or kijiji considered blackhat?
