Thumbs up This Script Made Me $XX,XXX

I wrote this little thing almost two years ago and it's been pretty useful in many areas. It's nothing new now, but there are still people who pay a monthly subscription fee for it. When I started, I was banking pretty well on Fiverr with a team of 10 doing the work for me.

Basically, this script will take some text, replace certain characters, and make it look completely unique to a computer (*Edit: It will look EXACTLY the same to a human reader. Have "Complex" checked). It even passes CopyScape 100% of the time if used correctly. My gig was selling batches of "unique" articles and all my team had to do was:

Step 1. Do a search on Ezine, ArticleBase, etc
Step 2. Run the article through my script
Step 3. Copy the encoded article into a text file
Step 4. Zip it up and deliver it to the user

    Easy $50 - $100 a day on Fiverr.

After a few days, I had to hire someone to help me manage the orders and communicate with the customers. Soon after that, I began hiring more and more freelancers at $1.10 per hour to process orders. This made me a Level 1 seller as soon as they came out with that feature. There are many other ways to use this to make money. Such as readable content for your websites (DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR MONEY SITES), selling on eBay, etc. Use your imagination.

It's time for me to give back to the BHW community, so I'm making the script public and free to use. Go nuts and make money

All I ask is that you try not to go overboard so I don't have to incur extra bandwidth costs. Enjoy.

What comes out LOOKS the same. The characters that are replaced look exactly like the original.

Having "Complex" checked will use these identical unicode characters. If you paste it into Word, you'll see the red underline indicating a misspelled word when it isn't.
"Random" will replace random characters in a word instead of all possible characters.
"Dictionary" will only replace words that are in the Dictionary textbox. The default words in there are stopwords. Use this so your keywords are unaltered and can be read by search engines.
"HTML code" will replace everything with it's HTML code equivalent. Put this on a webpage and it'll look like the original article.
"Reverse" will decode an article that was encoded with the "Complex" method.
"Ignored Words" - This will ensure that any word in this box is left alone.

If I understand correctly that is how it is supposed to work. The text will look identical but when a computer scans/reads it it will have been encoded so that it will differ from the original article.

I understand there is some encoding thing going on, which Copyscape cannot detect. How about Google bots? Will it be able to detect the content as duplicate?

Get refunded from the seller, rate down, report, and banned!

It will work for human reading, but with machine output, they produce very scrappy unreconize alien characters. Therefore, I'd recommend not to use these articles for SEO purpose. It's a waste of time, but if using for cheating non-techie, it will produce money (Un-Ethically).

Play with the options on the left-side. The text should be lengthy for it to pass CopyScape 100%.

I wouldn't risk using this on any of your money sites. I don't do much SEO, but I've heard that Google ranks articles that are written without spelling or grammar mistakes much higher.

Can they detect the content as duplicate? Maybe not now, but it wouldn't be hard for them. It's just a few extra lines of code.

Check my second post in this thread for an explanation of the options.

Generally, you'll want to have "Complex" checked. If only this is checked, all possible characters will be replaced with the new Unicode ones.

Have "Complex" and "Dictionary" checked to leave your keywords alone and only encode the words in the "Dictionary" box on the right. This will leave your keywords alone so that search engines and other content scanners will pick them up and still see your article as unique.

I had a lot of people who was able to use it for SEO successfully in the past. I wouldn't use this for your main site now, though.

I just remembered something I was never ballsy enough to do. If you're a college student and desperate enough, this may actually work on turnitin.com. If anyone would like to try, please report back.

Sorry for possibly asking a dumb question, but, let's say someone wants you to write a 500 word article about furniture. You find an article about furniture, run it through the process you mentioned. You are saying the person can't find that same original article online? I mean, maybe running a sentence or whatever on Google to see if any possible duplicates pop up. Does it get around that as well?

Sorry if this has been asked already. Thanks.

Ok yeah, it has been mentioned before, by you. I made a post about the same thing, about entering a sentence into Google to see what pops up. So, this is my only concern if offering this gig on Fiverr. The refund rate will be high, or at least I would think it would be.

My refund rate is extremely low. Most buyers are either too lazy to check or just do a quick CopyScape run through and it would of course pass. Of the buyers who do find the articles on Ezine or where ever, they'll ask for a refund and I just give it to them without a hassle.

I'd say my refund rate is probably as low as most gigs. Definitely less than 20 of the thousands of orders I've processed.

I dont know how this works, please enlighten me.

I just tried it and copied random sentence on the generated article and pasted it on google. The result is still the original article.

I dont see any encrypted code on my notepad.

You might not have "Complex" checked. Heh, it seems I may need to make this checked by default.

    Here is an example:

    An article from Ezine (http://ezinearticles.com/?Fat-Loss-W...-To&id=7798122)
    Original:
You should recognize that being overweight is a thing that can in fact end up causing many different sorts of diseases inside your body.
    Encoded with special characters:
Yоu shоuld rесоgnіzе thаt bеіng оvеrwеіght іs а thіng thаt саn іn fасt еnd uр саusіng mаnу dіffеrеnt sоrts оf dіsеаsеs іnsіdе уоur bоdу.
If you do a search after copying each of these sentences and you'll see that the encoded one will not have any results. This was done with only "Complex" checked off in the options. Good luck!

I was using this trick for URLs to avoid triggering anti-spam checks. NON-mobile browsers perform unicode normalization.
Unfortunately, you cannot register domains with unicode and ASCII characters, obviously for security reasons.

I never even chartered into that territory. That's going to open up a whole bunch of new possibilities.

Though I have not tried it myself, but it does look like something along the lines of what you could achieve with the then popular wp-unique plugin. I had seen people claim their websites being de-indexed on google for having such a thing implemented, though those were for backlinking in those days.

I am keen to hear on what others have to say about it, as in having used it on their web2.0s or similar other backlinking platforms to get good results.

Chrome, IE and Firefox convert it to a normal dot, however mobile safari(iPhone) fails.

Thanks! I'll add that to the script tomorrow. "Complex" is now checked by default. If anyone else has some ideas or features, let me know and I'll add it when I have time. For now, it's 3:30AM, so I'm off to bed.

This is gold. Too bad you let it out to the non-Jr VIPs. This should have been locked in there.

Just be warned that for SEO purposes its useless.

People will be able to find your articles only if they run their query thru the above mentioned script, which obviously will never happen.

Sure, you won't be able to rank money sites with such content.

But, still, OP, I can't believe you haven't had any complaints on fiverr.

Just to make sure, having "complex" and "dictionary" ticked when offering this gig for Fiverr, is that correct?

With a post like this, I am starting to feel a little shaky about venturing into Fiverrland with this.

Well, I found interesting searching for a word from spun articles to find sites using encoded articles.
