Im helping a friend with his 2 sites with same amount of trafific and we have a top banner space that i'sent used but will there be any CPM that will pay off?

the stats for each sites is

1000 Visits a day
500 unique visits a day
5000 pageviews a day

for now we have google adsense other places on the site that is giving arround 15$ a day from each site but we like to get more..

PPV isn't good for those amount of traffic. You'll earn something like $100 per year .

Think more about targetted traffic and what you can do with it.

for that traffic on CPC $15 is a lot. Be glad of it. If you want more just increase your traffic

If it is a niche site, you can add affiliate links. The best would be to apply for Amazon Associates and put links through out your content.

Stick with adsense, tweak where you ad displays, if you don't have a cube banner next to content, add one, if you have a 728 x 90 banner above the content add another one below the content, playing around with positioning ads can increase your earnings tremendously, but if you really want more you should be reinvesting in growing your traffic, or just focusing more at growing your traffic and obviously your earnings will increase with it.

What kind of site is it? What is the age group/sex/income/interests of your visitors.
Can you give a description about the niche?
