I'm currently doing this. I haven't been able to fully advertise my site but if you posted one new topic every day you'd get anywhere between 100-400 UVs depending on how much the topic/ person is liked. I would think if I posted more and actually invested more than 5 minutes on this I could make some good money.

how many sites are you running? Bandwith/space of your host? and mind sharing your monthly revenue?

I only have only site, bay*iimg.com, yes it's a typo, just like the one in the ebook. I started Feb. 14 I started off with adsense but only got impressions so I went to Adbrite and have only made $0.27 with 2,596 impressions out of 2,810 Ad zone views.

mmm wondering if it is worthy to rent a server..

I went ahead and got my hosting from Hostgator. It's not a penny anymore, I used the coupon and it was $4.01 and the domain I bought was about $8.00. So far I've made no profit. I could always sell the domain since it's a typo and has some traffic.
