Is sw00po design/idea patented?

Is it legal to have a clone of the site?

I don't know about patent (I doubt it) BUT they can and do have a copyright on it. There's currently a thread where we're doing a group buy to have a clone created of the site. Some modifications will be made to ensure no legal problems.

no, i dont think so, in here we had those sites at mid 2007 already , well at least one site claims that they were the first with that "clock" model. so i don't really think it is

Guys Swoopo has been patent pending for a while now, i think after a fixed time a application has been pending if it has not been granted/approved it goes from being private to being available for us to view the details of the patent and what its all about. Now if only i could remember the website to find this stuffs..

Oh just seen the budget i could probably do it near the same price..bit cheaper as its you guys!
