Ranking Yahoo Answers

Basically I?m trying to rank yahoo answers for my none competitive keyword. For all the answers I want to post there is currently a yahoo answer from 2007 or 2008 that is ranking with a sub list of similar questions underneath it. Is there away to knock the older top question and have my own ranked on top? Is there away to optimize your yahoo answer? Would backlinks help?

I do not think that it would be an easy task to knock down the older question. In fact, when there are multiple results from yahoo answers for a particular query, they are listed in the order of date posted. You mat try backlinking to see if it can be changed.

Well if you are a bit evil, you could report the older post/question multiple times if you have a low level accounts but if you have a high level yahoo answers account one report from you will instantly get rid of the older question.

This is not recommended though since someone might do it to you in return.
