I created a video for a company named Nokero (privacy reasons prevent me from showing it here).
I know its not very good but the company loved it.

Its a long read, but its worth it. Or if you are not interested, then may be I can create a WSO out of this and it will automatically end up here, then you will find it interesting.

Lets begin..

Steps:
1. Create a Storyline.
I am assuming you all are aware of what today's marketing geniuses has turned to, in order to create excellent videos. They are using the most important tool to deliver their message. "Emotions" . Emotions are the biggest driving factor. There were times when every other commercial used to have hot chicks in bikinis even if the commercial is for a baby food. . No wonder why that trend has moved on to create more compelling videos filled with emotions. Just plan your storyline and start working, but make it flexible enough so that you can make changes any time you want. Before producing it, narrate your storyline to your friend and if s/he is not laughing at you with his/her ass off, then be sure its good to go.
Tip: 3 things to derive behaviour are Fear, Craving and Sex. Use them as a part of your storyline.(Ignore sex please if you are doing some sober videos )

2. Gather Information about your industry.
Gathering information about the industry could be a real pain in the ass. Fortunately, thats why this tutorial has been created to help you to reduce some PIA.

3. Turning it into presentable form.
Have you even thought the infographics which we see every other day are so cool and they are an excellent way of communicating some boring stats and information in a really beautiful manner. Well, you are going to create some infographics yourself.

4. Converting everything into prezi.
Yes we are using prezi here. Why?? Its simple to use, give excellent results and hey its free.(yes it is, read in the end).
If you have used prezi before, you would know that you can import pics, videos etc in it. Now you just need to import all your data and arrange it according to your storyline. Once you have created a perfect storyline and all your affairs are in order, then create a script if you want to give a voice over, or if you just want to give BGM, then its no problem at all.

5. Converting Prezi into Video.
Now this thing is tricky, a lot of people I know try this but they do not get the results they want. Sometimes stuttering, sometimes lagging comes in the way.
You can follow the exact method which I do or you may improvise it as per your needs or skills.
Things you need:
a. Camtasia Studio
b. Safari Browser (Best support for flash according to my tests,)( what an irony )
c. A sane calm mind (Most important)

Now open you prezi in safari and start the camtasia recording.
Click on "Record the screen" button and when the recording dialog pops, under the capture tap, click on "Lock to application" and then put the Dimensions in which you want to get your prezi recorded. I use 800 by 600 as it fits perfectly and lagging is minimal when produced.
Always, give a minimum time gap of 10 sec in the beginning as you would need to minimise all the prezi controls to get started, let it record everything. You can edit everything later.
Now if you are doing voice over, then play the recording along with the "Prezi recording" as it would give you the exact idea of when you want to change the slide, but dont record the audio.

Once, it has been recorded and all the transitions are as per the voiceover, then after completing the recording, click on "save and edit". You can do all sorts of stuff over there, add BGM, remove extra noise, create effects, editing the non required part of the video.

Once everything is done, save and render to produce mp4 file.




P.S. To use prezi for free, you need to have a student email id, register it as a student and you would get a free access. But if you are using it for professional purposes, then please buy the plan as it is really worth it.
Also Camtasia studio is one of best tools out there to create clean and crisp videos, if you find yourself creating a lot of professional videos, then please buy it and support the developers.

Great info here. Truth be told, I've never ventured into video creation before, with most of my sites having only pictures and writing contents. The thing I keep wondering is how can I add in videos in a way that will be more productive but still profitable?

You probably know videos creates much more customer engagement, I guess its the time to switch to videos.

that aside, ive only ever heard of one those info resources before and that is MANY EYES and yes, i like it a lot; but as for the others? well, theyr'e ALL completely new to me -BUT NOT FOR LONG- im going straight off to investigate PREZI the zooming in/out presentation software as it looks like a truly useful bit of kit!

4 days is because creating and finalizing a compelling storyline is the most difficult job of all. Rest can be easily managed in a couple of hours, but to minimise the gap between what the client is demanding and what storyline are your going to create, makes it or breaks it.

ofcourse you can, btw I made one of my friend do that for me, so find a friend with a good voice, compliment him/her for the voice they have and make them work for u..
