Email From Hostgator:

This message is to advise you of a temporary block placed on your database. The database was found to be consuming an inordinate amount of processor time, to the point of degrading overall system performance. While we do limit each account to no more than 25% of a system's CPU in our terms of service, we do not actively disable accounts until they greatly exceed that number, which is what happened in this case. Requests to this database may become degraded by limiting the maximum number of queries or connections for a limited amount of time, or if there are sustained issues, ultimately we may be forced to block access to this database until the issue has been resolved.
I created an auto approved article directory a year ago using PLR i got here. Over the time, the amount of article published has increase from day to day. (Thanks to automation tool like AMR i guess).

So, I'm kind of stuck what should i do to the website? It has outgrown to the level shared hosting not be able to handle. It is so far the most outperform website among all my other domains. Alexa ranking currently standing in between 190,000 to 200,000. PR 0 because i did not do much SEO.

What i have in mind now are following few possibilities like:

1.) Sell the site away? But i'm totally no idea how to do it.
2.) Move the site to dedicated server? The cost of dedicated server is definitely way over the website's earning. (Currently only Adsense)
3.) Stop receiving article at all. I guess this will be my last resort.

What would you do if you face the same situation like me? Thanks in advance for your kind input.

You should look into limiting the number of submissions per day, instead of eliminating submissions altogether.

Move to a reseller or vps
u will get more resources

I'm using wordpress as the plattform. Do you know of any plugin that limit user's posting?

Might be a silly question, but are you using a cache plugin with wordpress as that would significantly reduce the resource required to run your website.

Yes. Cache plugin installed but doesn't help much.

You've outgrown your shared stay. Move to it's own IP and more robust hosting plan. Don't down size your daily activity due to server restrictions, MOVE.

I've had several emails like that from HostGator, which overall was a good thing. It usually meant lots of traffic and earnings.

I was able to get around the problem without having to upgrade packages. I'll be happy to tell what I did, just PM me.
