Just installed a CTR theme for one of my MNS sites today. My CTR has gone from 2% to 6% and I only installed the theme half way through the day happy happy

Can you link to that theme? I could use a better theme for my MNSs

Exactly what I was thinking! I have several themes that I will be checking the CTR over time, but in this case, it obviously helped - it's a great place to start...

Is it the CTR Theme from Eppie? You might want to disable the 336x280 side-by-side or Eppie call it the "road block". Google don't like it based on their latest Page Layout Algorithm Changed;

Yes I was about to post this, it puts all the ads on top of the fold and no content, so it's extremely risky.

Can you tell me the name of that theme?

I am using heat pro v5 and i think its the best

They started banning accounts with ctr theme left and right, just before payout. I would be very careful if I were you, unless you are testing on a spare account that you don't care.

one of my sites CTR is 0.16% for the month = 49 clicks. I can only imagine how much $$ I would make if I could get it to 6% = 1,837 clicks. Holy crap!

The CTR themes actually put your account at risk.

Google is smart enough to know that people are using those themes for the primary purpose of increasing CTR.

Yes ctr theme gives crazy ctr (( have seen 50% ctr on one of my websites) But as many here said it is dangerous to your account. I think the most important thing in ctr theme is the ad rotation. Now I run my oun custom theme with ad rotation and have almost the same %.

Ive Been using CTR theme on 10 sites, i just display two ads top and side its been ok for almost a year no ban. my ctr sits around 2-4%

Why is someone selling a site that makes $20k/month for $120k ?

Fine tune the ad rotation in CTR Theme and you will be fine. It's working well for me.

It depends on the market and the type of site. I have seen sites sell for 6-10 months of gross revenue. Of course, if I had a site making 20k a month - and it was stable and likely to stay that way, I'd keep it.

It's that 'likely to stay that way' that makes people want to sell while they can and make some coin to make other sites. We can't predict that an update will or won't come tomorrow that will devastate a site's income. We realize that more than potential buyers sometimes. Like the guy on here that sold an adsense site for 10+ times it's income and less than a month later it went from $600 a month to near zero. (It's the $300 a day to zero thread - now he's back up to more than he was - from the looks of things, using mostly CPA vs adsense...)

Thanks for this David, just installed on one of my sites BUT disabled the "roadblock" layout which certainly pushes content below the fold...

Hopefully won't get banned
