Does CPC of a niche even matter?
I'm a bit surprised by the fact that everyone seems to be sticking to the $1+ niches.
When you allow interest based advertisements in adsense, then it doesn't really matter what CPC your niche has does it?
Isn't it more worthwhile to go for the highvolume and easy niches with lower CPC since the ads will be interest based after all?

Re: Does CPC of a niche even matter?
Niches with low cpc can still be profitable. It's just that they are not really good for adsense mns in my opinion. At a certain point, when the cpc gets low enough, other methods of monitization might become a better option. So your high volume, low cpc niche will probably still have a high competition. It's just not profitable to go after a niche where the top ten has a $xxxxxx income from other methods and you are getting peanuts from adsense. If they start losing money they will blow your site right out of the water.

you missed my point;
I was saying the CPC of the niche doesn't really matter, because you will show ads not related to the niche anyway when you have 'interest based ads' enabled in adsense.
