Recently collected 1.5 million emails..I need an email scrubber..will exchange

These emails are sorted but non-verified, non-opt-in

    Very general categories, non-verified:

    Health
    Stocks/Investing
    Labor
    Automotive
    Adult
    Toys
    Games
    .....20 other categories

I know only about 30 percent are good but need some massive email scrubber rotating IPs and such.

I know the value of this and will trade the whole email list if a reputable email scrubber on BTW works with me.

your best bet is to check out impressionwise.

It wouldn't be cost effective (not to mention legal) for anyone to burn through a bunch of ips to clean a scraped list.

OP - Did you pay more than $97 for the data?

When I first started email marketing, which is all I do now, I collected every list that I could find. I literally had about two email addresses for each person on each. This was before I realized how difficult effective email marketing is.

I've learned a lot. I focused on the industry I want to serve and now I only mail to 300k people. It's much smaller than the Millions and Billions of emails that I have, but it makes me more money with less work.

I'm not familiar with the service that fun4uoc but you should check it out as I will do the same. The odds of you having spam traps may be high.

How do you know that it has 30% bounces. If the data is newly collected of it it was cleaned before you bought it, it should have less than 10%. My list, of 300k has less than 2% per mailing.

Let us know how it goes.

I didn't pay for the lists. Happened across the lists doing searches on google. I'm using Mail List Validator 2.0 but it isn't responding to rotating IP's.

Was hoping there is a specialist on BTW that would do a trade email list for a scrubbed email list.

I've seen gigs on fiverr for this but $5 for 10k scrubbed emails just isn't practical

Do not take this the wrong way, because I know that is how it will sound, but I think your list is garbage. Think about it. If a list was that good, would it be online for free?

Now, I'll be the first to say that you can make money with the list you have. You'll need a strategy that will allow you to quickly get in and out because most likely, you are going to get banned.

Having said that, when you send your emails, do not track clicks. If you track clicks and your hosting account becomes banned, all of those links will be dead as they are wrapped with a tracking URL that is now part of a banned account. I've made this mistake a couple times. There is nothing wrong with tracking clicks, I do it with all of my emails, but you need to first better understand your lists and your hosts before you do that.

As for the gigs on fiverr, I'd pay $5/10,000 all day along to have my data cleaned.

The programs that are supposed to do this typically only make sure the domain is active and not the actual email address. Maybe there is a way to truely process bounces without actually sending an email, but it is the only thing I have found that works.

There is, Impressionwise to clean out all the spamtraps, and Quickiemarketing to deal with the hard bounces.

Do this, and you will have a VERY clean mailable list.

Thanks 'fun4ouc'. I'll have to check it out. I'm sure that you have a better grasp of the technical side of effective email marketing based on your post.

I didn't think about processing his current list against current known traps and bounces. That would make senses. I've never had to do this because of the list I use and how I get my leads.

    Good stuff to know.

Would be great if someone would like to share their spamtrap lists.
