Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
Hi guys,
This is a method for noobs to start earning some money on Fiverr. It involves selling traffic.
1) Go to fiverr and create a gig titled "I will send you 2000 REAL visitors your website for $5", or something to that effect (emphasise on the fact that they are "real" visitors)
2) Write a good description. Read other top sellers descriptions to get ideas. Make it clear that although you are sending real visitors, you don't guarantee sales but it is good for Alexa rankings, etc (you don't want a buyer who was expecting conversions to leave negative feedback and destroy your rating). Also mention that you don't allow sites with framebreaking scripts or popups on entry/exit (I'll explain why below).
3) Make a video! This is really important. I see so many sellers on fiverr without videos. There are hundreds of sellers out there and you need to outrank them in the gig search results. You can make your own free videos by googling "royalty free background videos" and "royalty free soundtracks", combine them together, and adding some text effects using Windows Movie Maker. Also add ALL relevant keywords to your description!
4) Now when you get your first sale, go to adf.ly and create an advertising account. Then go to "Create Campaign" and buy 2000 visitors from countries with cheaper rates like Cambodia/Indonesia/India/Thailand. They cost $0.5/1000 visitors, so your cost will be $1 (adfly does have a minimum $5 upload - but you can use the remaining $4 for the next few customers). Which leaves you with $3 after adfly and fiverr fees. (adfly doesn't allow framebreaks/popups, which is why I mentioned not to allow them in your gig description)
5) Send the traffic to your customer!
If you're struggling to get sales, make a purchase with another account and leave feedback (don't overdo it just to be safe). You can even offer more visitors than 2000 and later reduce it back once you have a few sales and some feedback.
Feedback is important to getting sales on Fiverr. So for your first few customers, you could offer to send another "2000 free visitors" if they agree to leave you a positive feedback.
If you're creative, may be you could add your own twist to the gig (e.g. bonuses).
This won't earn you a truckload of money, but it's a good way for noobs with little money to start earning, before moving on to more profitable ventures.
Hope this helps!

It's actually purely common sense but you have to think about this.
Nice share!

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
theres a huge amount of traffic gigs of 2000 visitors on fiverr, hard to get over them when you are not rated. try going for 3000 visitors and cut your revenue to 2/5$ per sale, but you'll sale a lot more. the time you'll spend on it won't pay unless you'll get 10+ orders per day, but still it's a nice way to earn a few bucks that requires minimum setup

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
I agree that it's rather over populated.
Possible to get some sales.
-
-
Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
but the same mechanism can be applied to many other services; just find something that costs less than 4$ and is easy to manage and resell it on fiverr...
Same thing is being done here in the forums I guess... even combining different fiverr gigs and reselling them on ebay (or the forums) will work..

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
the hardest part with fiverr is getting as many eyeballs on your gig
I see a lot of people promote their gigs through adwords lately
getting some reviews and a "push" to your gig can make it rank quite well both on fiverr search, google and yahoo
I've seen a gig that generated $45,000 worth of sales in one year now think about that :-) That is what I call business and the gig has roughly 300 orders in que always getting new order etc, it's basically all autopilot.
Promoting a gig and getting some eyeballs on it is the most important to actually earn some decent money....

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
Yeah guys, you got to be creative. If you're selling traffic, it's most likely that the buyers are aiming it at their money site. So you could, for example, offer to do a free on-site SEO report using some tool like IBP or SEO Powersuite (which is in the download section here) as part of the gig. This is just an example, I'm not saying to exactly do this (there's no point in everyone doing the same 'twist' and saturating it), but this is just to give you an idea.
Think of something you could add to the gig that other traffic sellers haven't included, yet costs nothing extra for you to provide, but will be valued by the end buyer. You can stop doing the extra later once you're a top seller and look credible.
You could also provide more visitors in the beginning (i.e. just about break even) to get your initial feedback rolling in, and later reduce the visitors when your established.
Also, the thing you can control is adding a video and all the relevant keywords. With good feedback + a video + good keywords you can rank higher in the results. Sellers at the bottom of the results pile tend to have no video and few/bad keywords. And buy your own gig to leave feedback if you don't get any sales, just to give people assurance that at least one person has bought the gig and was satisfied.

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
UPDATE: I've seen that Linkbucks offers visitors from China at $0.10 per 1000 visitors. So you can sell 5,000 ($0.50) or even 10,000 ($1) visitors on fiverr and still turn a profit!
And it's not even saturated yet. I just had a quick look on fiverr and there aren't many sellers offering 10,000 or even 5,000 visitors. And most of the sellers don't even have a video on their gig so outranking them is gonna be a piece of cake.
I haven't tried this with Linkbucks yet, and I'm not going to, so some noobs can have a chance

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
Hi
Please be gentle as I'm a noobie!
I've followed the plan, I've a buyer on Fiverr and I've created a campaign on Adf.ly that is happily tootling along sending visitors to the said site.
My problem is that my buyer has asked what the referring URL is and I have no idea. Will Google analytics (or whatever he is using) show the traffic as coming from adf.ly or will it be from each individual visitor?
I'm reluctant to tell him that it's from adf.ly as if he does a little digging he'll realise that he could have bought the traffic for a lot less money himself.
Any ideas!

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
This method works but there are already a lot of sellers doing the same gig. You need to add a twist to make this work.
You fuck up once, you lose two teeth.

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
NOT possible... adf.ly want a minimum purchase of 5$ ! So you can't buy traffic for as low as 2$!

First of all, congrats on getting a sale! Yes, the buyer will be able to see the traffic coming from adfly on Google analytics since that is the referrer.
You can cloak the traffic using a "301 redirect" from one of your domains if you have one. If you don't have a domain, then simply answer the buyer by saying "I have business partnerships with several traffic exchanges and the traffic will come from one of them. I can't tell you the exact referrer since a partner traffic exchange will be chosen at random depending on the load" blah blah... You get the point.

Yes I have, although I started it months ago when it was arguably easier. Anyway, there is no setup costs and anyone can put the gig up in under an hour (including video creation time) so there's no harm in anyone trying.

Indeed, a twist should be added. Also - I haven't yet tried the Linkbucks traffic source method that I mentioned in my previous post. You can get 10,000 visitors for $1, so it's not gonna be hard to compete on fiverr after offering that many visitors. As promised in my previous post, I won't use it so that newbies can have a chance to try it out. It would be great if a newbie implements the Linkbucks method and reports back here.

Would an iframe work to hide the traffic source? If i were to put there site on my own and send the traffic to mine? I'm new to all this and trying to learn.

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
This method looks pretty promising. Basically reselling traffic, and the only catch is you need to hide the refferer some way so you do not get bad feedback.

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
Thanks DarthM!
How long will it take adf.ly to deliver the visitors?

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
this method needs some more twist.. Bcoz people can't spend money on unrated seller on fiverr

Yes that'll do the trick too. You'll have a nested iframe, since adfly's iframe will display your site, which in turn will have an iframe of your customer's site. You need to make sure that neither your site nor the customer's site breaks iframes.
On a side note, it got me thinking: There are many sellers of "expired domain traffic", many of which I'm sure are legit. However, I think others could be simply sending this (i.e. adfly, linkbucks, etc) traffic to their recently purchased "expired domain" and then hiding their traffic source by fudging the referrer... Anyone want to start selling expired domain traffic?

You can setup the campaign to deliver it at what speed you wish.

You could provide it in one day if you want. I prefer to make my gig delivery length a bit longer so that I have time to sort something out in case something goes wrong or if I didn't get time due to the non-IM part of my life.

Well it'll last until the arbitrageurs have dried it all up OR unless you can add twists and tweaks. Try the Linkbucks method for now. And add twists/tweaks when sales get snatched by others. Need to be creative.
I remember reading not too long ago about people saying that they can't get fiverr Scrapebox blast sales because it is saturated. They probably read macbaren's thread and tried to copy it exactly. Well, I bought SB in late December and after accounting for the cost of buying SB + a month's private proxies + a decent autoapprove list, I made that money back within days just on fiverr. Small hint: I focused on Gov and Edu URLs. I also provided a bonus that was free for me to do and took around a minute of my time to accomplish. I have since taken that gig down as I'm focusing on other more profitable ventures, but I can't share the bonus I used since I may use it again (if I get the chance to code a SB bot to automate everything). Also, it would saturate the bonus anyway.

I guess they'll have to handle this small amount of 'liquidity pressure' to apply this method, since they know that they'll be getting the money in 2 weeks anyway.

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
Yes, tell them it is a TRADE SECRET or you have a CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT which does not allow you to disclose your source without legal liability.
I always have a NON-CIRCUMVENT AGREEMENT in big deals just to prevent people like this from trying to go around me. This does not apply to small issues like this, so use what I told you in the first paragraph.
You are always going to have people who want to cut you out after you have put in all the energy and research to create something profitable.

The buyer should be able see the visitors from their web analytics tool (e.g. Google analytics). When your adfly campaign is over, just send the buyer a message saying e.g. "All 2,000 visitors have been delivered. Thanks!"
Hopefully the gig buyer won't be so dodgy as to claim that he didn't receive the traffic.

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
I created a campaign in adfly just to see how it works and I'm glad I did as it appears that there's a review process:
You currently have a campaign that is 'Pending', this means a member of our review team will be looking at your website shortly. Please allow up to 72 hours for this manual review before contacting us
Anyways, I have to see how the campaign will be managed once activated. I assume I have to set a budget limit for each URL equivalent to the number of views desired?

Re: Yet another Fiverr method for noobs
Ok so my Adfly campaign got approved and I'm getting some views BUT, I can't add a second URL unless I add another campaign and when I try to add another campaign I need to shell out another $5 despite the fact that I have $4.80 in my account! The only way to use my initial credit is to change the campaign URL!
DarthM, I'm wondering how did you manage to buy campaigns at $1 only? It seems the only way to work this is to have enough campaigns (at $5 each) to cover all gigs in the queue + undergo a manual review every time the URL is changed.

Initially I used 2 adfly accounts. Since I never had more than 3/4 gigs in the queue at the same time, and because my gig length is several days, I delivered the first gig, then changed the campaign URL to that of the 2nd gig, while simultaneously doing the same with the third and fourth gigs on my other adfly account.
However, I now use the redirect method where I point the traffic at my domain, and my domain picks one of the URLs in my list to redirect to in rotation. If you do that, then you can just use one account.

Hey I have a quick question. Great tip, perfect for me as I am complete noob. The thing is not I signed up with the $5. And it wants me to use $5 for one campaign.! Help!? How do I stop this. How can I withdraw funds from a campaign so it only sends 2000 visitors and not 10000.
THanks!
