How come SOME yahoo answers rank well in Google? Will BACKLINKS help your Yahoo Answers rank higher? Do you target high EPC adsense, or hot products now? Can we ask high keyword-density questions and expect for google to AUTOMATICALLY place our links high in the SERPS?

I see Answer Assault is here, which in fact is a fantastic product. I just needed my personal bot to do a little more. Now I am sitting on a bot that can ask/answer/confirm best answer/vote best answer/star as interesting/add user to "friends", etc.

Any ideas on monetizing this program? What is a better angle?

Products w/ Amazon, Ebay, etc?
Blogs w/ Adsense?
Blogs w/ Content lock?

Blatant spamming gets accounts suspended. My main idea would be to get 50-100 "TEMPLATES" outsourced, then have it auto-reply with a template and the subject. This effectively would be able to place a GENERAL bit of information and a link.

Has anyone thought about an "information" gatherer? Say you put a product in, it searches information websites like wikipedia, amazon etc which would make your answers even easier. What websites would you recommend to scour information from.

Put down in Google for ALL questions search:

site:answers.yahoo.com "keyword" 

If you want only open questions put this:

site:answers.yahoo.com "keyword" -top answer -best answer

If you want it down by specific time you can tell google to show recent or 24 hours or week.

I was amazed to find out that a highly competitive niche was getting 1000 questions a day! WOW. Can you imagine that???

I have never used a bot with Yahoo answers but have always done it manually. Had some good results until my accounts started to get banned.

Me too...I got banned when i steped on contributors toes...

That is why bots will kick their sorry arses!

Never yahoo answers to content locker. That will get you flagged and soccer mom's pissed off. Only link to relevant quality content.

Whats your opinion on PRODUCTS? Products review page, link's to WHAT OFFERS? Amazon? I get it that slow money is better than no money, but this method is starting to seem bust for me. I have the ability to post 1,000-5,000 questions/day. Have the ability to answer w/ spun messages and can cost TONS of answers.

I have used a while ago yahoo answers in tv shows niche, to content locker pages. I have posted somethign like 2-6 posts until an account get banned but it converts well. I dont know if it still working ( with my niche)

Manually post 2 or 3 question per day and answer them by proxies.Dont always link to 1 website.Link to your nodes in link wheel too

I stopped my adfly links and am now using
my forwarded INFO domain to put in source..

Alot of free info on that ebook site, so I am guessing
all these people are just running with the free info
and not buying ... Plus, these kids are young .. like 13
to 17yrs old and probably don't have a credit card near by

This is the best source of traffic. I use it more for my PayDotCom products to sell them, I often prey upon teenagers who want to get rich quick, and I found niche searches that are common amongst these kids...

YOu can rank an answer if you use long tail keywords. I found that when i use 4 keywords i get on 1st page. 3 kw-2nd page.

What converts best is: services, ebooks, training & tutorials and physical products.

AMazon is best: i got 20 answers in ONE day with 20 + links (in some answers i ahd 2-3 links) and no ban no flag!!! In fact 5 of those answers where selected as BEST by voters or OP

Also services like background checks (stay away..i'll flag ya' ) work fine too!

anyways, I never tried backlinks, only pinging.
Also there are not many clicks but conversion is amazing, about 30-50%.

I get about 30 clicks/week. And i have only few answers i "sell" the rest are transitions from LVL 1 to LVL 2

Get 2 Yahoo accounts. Ask a question in your niche. Wait for a good answer, copy it on your second account, but post an article on your site before and then choose your own as best answer. Put CB ads on it or just Adsense.

I just bought 10 lvl 2 accounts and I plan to get proxies. Lets all start a chat group concerning monetizing yahoo answers.We could also help each other out by selecting each others answers as the best if someone doesn't have a lvl 2 account.

I had the most success with several level2 accounts, one proxy assigned to each in AnswerAssault, no account has been banned so far. I generally post a question and wait, then take the best answer and rewrite it a little and post it as my own answer via one of the other accounts and select it as best answer. In my experience you should always let a few 'external' answers in, don't be the first to answer, at least not all the time.

It's important to not just post answers with links in it... most of the answers I post are in fact without a link, I just drop a link in about 20% of the answers, usually using the source field. -- By the way, is there an option to use spun text in the source field in AA, too? When I click on Spintax it only inserts them in the answer field.

I use a mixture of shortened and normal URLs, don't post one URL too often. better to use different domains and set up redirects. When there is a good question I answer, I sometimes write a very professional answer and use the URL of the moneysite itself - backlinks. I'm very careful, though... only post answers that really match the context, write them in a personal style and so on. Don't spam too hard, use your brain and try to make things look kinda natural.

For monetizing, I mostly use Adwords and different affiliate programs.

This is a very interesting thread. I have always wanted to revisit Yahoo Answers.

I am quite good at answering questions and actually enjoy it, to be honest. My only problem is my fear of bans.

Yes I can create multiple accounts on multiple IPs but I have always worried about domains. It seems that you must register a great many of them to avoid repeating them. And if you just post a redirect domain, other marketers know your game and flag you. Deeper links are better but then your conversion sucks.

I would also like to stay well under the radar to avoid other marketers who flag your answers. I have heard that you should avoid answering recently posted questions and instead look for older, unanswered ones.

I always laugh when people say that the people on Yahoo Answers are young. Yeah right, try telling that to people posting questions about hemorrhoids lol!

The truth is that the reason people write like children on there is because many of them are dumb and gullible hicks. They will believe anything so they also make pretty damn good buyers too!

I am definitely going to revisit this shortly, especially as I can mix it up with another technique.

I will create dozens of l2 accounts myself. By the way, it is real easy to get to L2. All you have to do is rate tons of questions and then answer polls. No thoughts required! In about 3 days you can get to level 2.

Amazon products would work great with backlinks from yahoo answers but also lots of information questions on there so other sites will do good too

I'm used to mass creating Google accounts but not Yahoo ones.

I don't think you Need any phone verification. I use to sell level 2 account on fiverr and I found that yahoo accounts were easy to get but hard to maintain.

I'm going to do this 100% manually. It's not hard. After working so many niches over the years, I am an expert and can give great answers. I can easily give 30 high quality answers per day so that's at least 6 links. Just want to avoid the ban hammer that's all.

The cool thing is that I have two totally different sets of IP addresses that I can use for this as an extra precaution to stay under the radar. Flagging competitors is my only risk.

Here is an update for YA-Amazon.

I Used AA to collect questions that had "where can i buy" in them. Then i went to amazon and found each item that they wanted to buy.
Shortened with bitly so it becomes amzn.to. In source i had 1-2-3 links to amazon. And i mean in EACH answer on a single account 1 or 2 or 3 links, depending on what was the item.
I answered about 25 questions of which 5 got selected as best answer by community. So far in a month that made 5 sales on amazon. But the fricking greedy bastards only pay those measly 4% and the items were under 100 so not much was made.

POINT IS:
1. Amazon links dont trigger bans.(hoewver dont spam)
2. Amazon converts, but i would only recommend it to newbies (to avoid bans) and rich dudes (it makes less money).
3. I use 5 different accounts on the same IP...no problems...i also always ccleaner beofer posting/answering.

I am going to try to "rob" the teens and step into big boy's game on YA...

Just in case you dont know what that is: Dating/Betting/Make Money Online/Health niches...In this niches you got to worry about competition and top contributors.
They immediately flag you answers and even questions. Normal approach does not work for these niches.

Will let you know how that worked in about 2 weeks. HM...maybe i should start a kind of journey and let everyone know how it works??

I read something elsewhere that is definitely worthy of telling you guys here.

First, make sure that you turn off visibility of your answers with your profile to stop some competitors who will try to kill your account by flagging all your answers.

Second, when your questions you answered go into voting, vote for your own answer! I actually looked at some ancient questions I had answered last night that were still in voting for some reason so I voted mine (the profile names were generic for some reason) and instantly I got best answer, lol!

Even if they are not old, you still give yourself a higher chance of winning the vote!
