Thanks for clicking on my thread. I keep getting PMs about my last thread, asking to see the video/website I put up. I was leaning towards showing everyone it, but I an epiphany and now have thought of a better contribution... I am going to be going back to the basics, implementing money making methods shared here. Publically. If you'd like you can copy and paste my work you will see the results I do. However, I wouldn't advise you to do so. By all means, implement as I do, but choose different products, niches, keywords, etc.

I will be testing out a variety of different methods, both new and old to end all the thoughts that you can't succeed online.

The kicker: while I have many tools accumulated over the years, I will not be using anything that a complete n00b wouldn't have at his or her disposal. I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible so everyone can see, follow, and earn.

I hope this will:
- Be a learning experience for you
- Show you that internet marketing is really about implementation
- Finally get your internet marketing career kick-started

My Goal? To spend a MAX of a couple hours a day implementing a method (shared here on BHW of course). I'm getting to $50/day as fast as I can to show you that YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

p.s. I'm a late night person so I'll probably write the bulk of it late at night (depending on where you are). Ideally I'd like to write once in the morning to let you all know what I'm planning. Once during my implementation. And a post after to let you know the results. That is an ideal situation. I don't see it happening like that every time, but I'll do my best.

p.p.s. This isn't a journal for myself, as I've already made it well past the mark. Now, I'm just trying to give back to BHW in the most useful way possible. I believe this is it. I will be implementing a variety of methods outlined in the making money. I'm going to try to choose 1 method a day to implement. If I'm feeling it, I may do a micro niche website, but I'm leaning towards no. I don't want to be stuck on keyword research with no tools to do so. DAY 1

Today's Workload: Long and Tedious

Today won't be the most fun, but if you can get through this, you will be able to get through any method we go through in the coming weeks. Stick with me alright? I'll help you to finally be successful. I promise.

NOTE: Proxies will not be used as n00bs probably don't know the first thing about proxies slash wouldn't use them. I will also not be using camtasia as most n00bs don't own it (it was shared on BHW, but I can't find the link so instead I will use windows live movie maker).


Needed:
- Windows Live Movie Maker / iMovie (or any other video editing tool): Every computer nowadays comes with one
- Gmail Account
- YouTube Account & Channel
- FileSonic account

Please also note I will not be doing this with CPA as some people somehow can't get accepted, even though you can easily get accepted by reading this post, this post, this post, this post, this post, or even this post (see all these resources guys? If you can't get accepted by reading all these posts... Lord have mercy on your soul)

Before we start, create a folder label it "IMPLEMENT". Inside of that folder create another one and label it "Day 1".

To start out I created a gmail account. Steps:
- go to gmail.com
- click the "CREATE AN ACCOUNT" (in the big red rectangle at the top right of the page)
- fill out random BS information (just remember your email and password)
note: that might have taken this thread to a whole nother level...


- Open up a word document. Put your details (email and password) into the word document and save it to your "Day 1" folder as "day1details". (Some people will advise you to never save your personal information on your computer. If you know you're going to remember it or if you're one of those people, then suit yourself... or write it down on a piece of paper).

Once you have done that, go to YouTube.com and click "Sign In" at the top right hand corner.
- Sign into YouTube with your gmail details
- Click on your email in the top right hand corner of the page (a drop down menu should appear)
- Click "My Channel"
- Create a channel name. Something with "Music" or "Hip Hop". Just something that isnt random letters (see what I made my channel)


You can see what I chose. Honestly, the name doesn't really matter.

* Create two or so more gmail accounts along with YouTube channels as you always risk getting banned when uploading music, so we want to spread out the videos between accounts so if one account gets banned, all our videos don't disappear. We can always make more later if three isn't enough.

My 3 channels:

Now it's time to find the songs. Go anywhere you'd like. You can search google for songs coming out soon, but the sites mentioned in the OP were:

Now choose a song. The first one I saw was the Chris Bown - Don't Wake Me Up. I'll go with that.

As you can see. It's already been downloaded 20k times from this site. Imagine getting $2 per 1000 downloads. That's not a lot of money considering the rates advertised these days, but honestly, it's realistic. That's $40 in just one day from one song. 40 x 30 = $1,200/month from one song. Now you're not going to get this type of results since this is the source, but it's encouraging to think about. You may get lucky with one video and have it go viral. If this is the case, you may see results like $1,200/month for one video.

- Download the song you chose (or the same song if you want to not succeed in internet marketing). You may need to sign up to download. Just use your gmail information. Be sure to save your username and password in your "day1details" document.

- Go to filesonic.com [aff link] and create an account with the gmail email you created before (it's free). Save your nickname and password in your "day1details" document.

- upload the song you downloaded

- go to Google Images and type in the artist of your song. Download one of the pictures.

Go into windows movie maker or whatever you're using (only extremely basic knowledge is needed).
- insert the picture you just downloaded into the project
- insert the song you downloaded
- export it
- upload it to YouTube on your first account


- Get the link of the filesonic song file to share
- go to goo.gl and mask the link (optional)
- Put the goo.gl link in your description. Say something like "Download Chris Brown's Don't Wake Me Up at (your link)

Repeat until you have about 5 videos per account (I'll probably do more).

That's it for day 1!

Things to note: Your video could very well get taken down. YouTube is very strict on music. Too tired to note anything else, but I'm sure there's a bunch of things I missed.

If you have any questions post here and I'll answer them. I'll try to give you an update in a bit of what I'm doing. I have gave you my accounts so you can just look at them to see what I have as the title, description, keywords, etc.

- I'll try to make the posts a bit cleaner in my next update and future posts.

* If you have a suggestion as to how I could go about this method (or any method I implement) in a better way, please post! Though keep in mind I am going about this with the mindset of a complete n00b! I will not be using account creators, youtube commentors, scrapebox, xrumer, etc.

Well... i've been in the upload bussiness for a while, i know that this is a solid method to make money, i haven't crack it at all, because in 1 year i've earned only about $800....

But i know that out there is people making $5000/month working in the Uploader niche.

I will keep an eye on this thread to learn about this business, and of course i could help with my experience if you need it fellas... I haven't combined Blackhat methods yet but i know one thing or two...

My main source (all source indeed) came from Warez forums, and the best conversion material i've tried is Adult and Applications. I use a Leech, which is a online server with a bunch of premiums accounts, this makes a lot easier the work of download and upload the files that i publish.

I know more info but im not trying to get out of the OP thread.... i will be here, trying to learn and share as much as i can.

First off, I'd like to clear up a bit of confusion. I am trying to implement one method a day. Day 2 I will continue to implement method 1, but will also start on another method. Day 3 I will continue to implement method 1 and 2, but will also start another method. I WILL NOT RESULTS RIGHT AWAY! One of the main reasons you probably haven't made much money yet is you thought you'd see results immediately. Don't expect to see any results. This method may not even bring about results in the first week, maybe even month.

For method 1, we'll have a minimum of 15 uploaded videos on the first day. Since we are getting views naturally, don't expect to see a ton of views right away (unless you get lucky). 15 x 30 however is 450 videos. This may be more or less depending on how much you are willing to put in, but you will see better results over time.

Main Point: Don't expect to see results right away. Stick with it and you will be successful.

If at the end of one month we've made $20 from this (or any amount for that matter), we can either purchase the premium membership or reupload the files and create new links. I really don't see this as a huge deal at this point in time. We will re-evaluate it when we get closer to one month's time.

Day 1 UPDATE

Day one has been pretty repetitive. Kinda sucks doing these old methods, but we're trying out our options. If you stick with me, we'll be making $50/day soon enough. I'll try to summarize some tips, questions I've been getting, etc. Feel free to post and ask questions. I'll make a results post at the end of the day, but I honestly expect zero results. And that's completely fine. We're going to adjust the method as needed so we can profit from it for as long as possible.

TIP1:
- go to youtube and click on your username at the top right hand corner
- click "settings"
- click "Email Options" on the left hand side
- check the "Don't send any emails for the above events."

This will prevent you from getting your inbox flooded day after day of emails notifying you of comments, subscribers, etc.

TIP2:
If you your not signed up for Vagex [aff link] or Viewet yet, sign up! These are YouTube viewers that you can leave running in the background and earn free views for your videos. This will give your videos exposure faster and increase your chances of the video becoming viral. What video do you click on when you search for videos on YouTube? The one with the most views? Well, we're aiming to have the most views after day one of a song being released to increase our chances of getting clicked on, shared, and downloaded.

NOTE: I have not purchased views, comments, or subsribers

TIP3:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5PoSedwsZg Go to the link for instructions on how to alter the audio file. This is a little bit more advanced and is definitely not required. This might not even work. It took about 30 minutes to download everything and learn it. What it does is slightly alter the sound so that your video isn't detected by YouTube. Like I said, I heard it doesn't even work now, but hey it's worth a try.

Yes, run the risk of getting banned. I will test CPA offers in the future, which will not get you banned (as easy). It's best to use mixtapes. Most of these artists are trying to get into mainstream music and want people to share their music.

Mixtapes won't get as many views, but the views will accumulate over time. Imagine if you posted tracks from Lil Wayne's first mixtape...

Could I ask, though, why aren't you using something such as Sharecash for your site? Sure, people must do a survey but don't you think it'd give you higher earnings in the long run?
I do not like this method at all that you've done in Day 1 (I just don't have faith in it - people download songs from places like vidtomp3 nowadays), and I'll be skipping this one. Too many people competing over the same popular songs and hardly any downloads ever come - tried this before long ago..Method is way too saturated now. If you begin making even $0.25 a day with it then I'd be surprised heh.
Anyways, can't wait to see what's next!

Thanks for joining me. I am going to be trying out various ways of monetizing these videos. It really all depends on the view count. If I can get a video with 10k views in a couple of days, it should be pretty easy to drive traffic to the link. Sharecash is definitely a good way to monetize, but for what we are doing on Day it's not. Most people are not willing to fill out a survey in order to download a song. Also, sharecash can be pretty strict about the files you upload. I may try one of the upload sites owned by BHW members that are more flexible.

I'm going to be trying out a whole bunch of methods. Yes, I know this and many of the other methods I'm going to try are saturated to some degree, but I am trying to prove that you can still make $50/day in this day and age with old methods. I've very happy with where I'm at internet marketing wise, so this thread is all for the benefit of the members of BHW.

That's why I'm sharing all the information publicly. If you want to report my videos, then do so. But don't do it because you want me personally to fail. Do it because you don't want other people attempting this and making money. If my accounts get hacked and someone changes all my links to their own... more power to them. This is for you guys so use it as you'd like.

I was in no way intending to bash your methodology - I love what you're doing for us newbs here! I was merely suggesting that this particular method, without proper boosting of the YouTube videos, will be increasingly difficult to get going. Especially from Hotnewhiphop; seems like within an hour of a new song being posted on that site, there's already 10 videos of people doing the same thing. Perhaps if you could target a different genre of music, such as country, it'd work more efficiently. Although, I'm not sure of any sites like HNH that are for various genres.

gonna follow this one. Just wondering one of your vids already got taken down. i like all those methods but was also wondering if it wont be a long time problem because of the copyright issue. did you have any more derious consequences then a video/account being taken down?

Thanks KraftyKyle and don't expect results right away people it takes a little time and effort. I haven't been doing any of this in a while, so I am on board. I was making $50 a day a while back and I let school, work and various other things get in the way. This topic was like a wake up call for me and I have to get back on focus.

DAY 1 RESULTS

You have officially gotten through Day 1! Congrats!

Today's just the start. I wasn't planning on making any money today and that theory was correct. I'm going to give an overview of the day.

Channels Created: 4

Channels Banned: 0


Videos Created: 12

Videos Banned: 1

Note: My first Chris Brown video was banned within an hour. Go figure since it's a big artists new song. It still got over 800 views within an hour an a couple downloads. This is why I will now try to stick to mixtapes and lesser known artists. These artists want their music shared and spread throughout the internet.

TIP1: Use Vagex and Viewet to earn credits to blast your videos right away. This will drastically increase the likelihood of them being at the top of the search.

Total Views: 1,957

Total Downloads: 12

Total Earnings: $.05

^ Don't be discouraged. This is what we expected to get on just our first day (actually more since I figured we wouldn't see any earnings hah). We will keep building on it and improving it. Stick with me and we will make it to $50/day together.


Tomorrow's plan: Find a new method to implement. Continue to implement day 1's method. I'm leaning towards signing up at a pay per download site owned by a BHW member, just to test out to see if we can get a couple bucks. The real money will come when the video views get higher. I'll be testing out different ways of monetization. If you'd like to contribute your journey with me, please do so.

It makes me feel 99% better that the one video you got banned is the same that I got banned

2000 views in one day, that's amazing! I had like 3 in the last 2 hours. Strange that there were only 12 downloads. That CTR is pretty low.

You'll find some big artists crack down on sharing their songs, while other encourage it. That is why sometimes you'll find yourself with a bruno mars song getting 50k views, but yet have a chris brown song banned in an hour. That's just the way things go. Glad it makes you feel better we had the same video banned!

As for the 2k views and 12 downloads, please be aware that I used Vagex and Viewet to increase views. I let them run in the background all day and redeem pretty much all of the views came from the two. This was just so that the video will get a kickstart. In the next week or so we should see if they can really take off. As mentioned, I'm going to try alternatives to straight uploading the files to filesonic, though sites such as hiphopearly.com are doing the same thing we are, they are just putting a link back to their site as well.

Great results. Was thinking if it's possible to make a seperate audio file promoting your website and placing it in the video, so your videos won't get banned. As far as I know yt tries to get rid of video that have major industries/artists audio files, so this way it wouldn't sound as original. What's your input in this?

That's a great idea as you'll actually hear that in most leaked songs. Something along the lines of a deep voice saying, "Leaked Music dot com" (that may or may not be a real site). For what we're doing, I don't think it's worth it though. Adding this won't make the song sound different to YouTube. If you have a site/blog, I would include a link to it in the description. That should suffice.

For what we're doing, I don't think it's worth it though. Adding this won't make the song sound different to YouTube. If you have a site/blog, I would include a link to it in the description. That should suffice.

Another method I had in mind was speeding up the the audio file a bit, but it's time consuming as you will have to find a way how and you'd have to do it on each audio file.

Yesterday, I managed to put up 2 videos, as it was late as f***. Chris Brown song mona lisa was deleted today, bow wow song still is up and generated 36 views in less then 12 hours. Not much though, but that's a start will get some more today.

With such method, it would be handy to have yt account creator, if you're not changing song and placing original audio on yt.

DAY 2

Today we're going to continue to implement method 1. After a day of that method you should now be able to pop out videos pretty efficiently. Each video for me takes about 10-15 minutes now to download, alter the speed, download an image of the artist, insert the image into windows movie maker, insert the new audio file into windows movie maker, export the video, and upload it to youtube. While it's uploading, I upload the original audio file to filesonic. When it's done uploading, I put up the same format for every title, description, and keywords. (that just sounded like A LOT of work, but it really can be done quite quickly).


Today's Method: product reviews

We will be finding products on the Clickbank marketplace to promote. I would link to a thread that explains it, but I'm not sure where one is. As you know my posts are very detailed so you should have no problem following my little guide. This is a very easy method and is great for newbies. You are going to be posing as a satisfied customer, telling the visitor that you have seen such wonderful results from the product and can't imagine living without it.

Needed:
- Microphone (all newer laptops come with mic built in)
- Screen Recorder/Capture (Free)
- a Voice (I certainly hope you have one of these. I would have done this method when I started internet marketing at the age of 12, but I was afraid people wouldn't take me seriously because of my voice. Little did I know I could have been making a killing implementing this method regardless of how my voice sounded)
- ClickBank Account (Free)

Alternative:
- If you don't have any of the "needed" listed above, you can get this method done for $5 from fiverr. However, I am trying to keep the cost as low as possible so I am doing it myself. Actually, I would do it myself even if I wasn't trying to stick to a low start-up cost because it's such an easy method.


Let's get started...

1) Create a new folder "day2" in your "IMPLEMENT" folder.

2) Create another Gmail account for the day. As shown yesterday, you can really use any information you'd like. Be whoever you want to be! Be how old you'd like to be! Just remember your username and password and your good to go! Save the details in a new document labeled "day2details". Save this file to your "day2" folder.

3) Sign up for a ClickBank account if you don't already have one (it's free). ClickBank is essentially a marketplace where people who are looking to sell their product s go to find people to sell their products for them. You will get 50%-75% commission on each item sold!

TIP1: When creating an account, make your nickname something generic. This will display as the url at the top of the page when visitors go to the products you're promoting. Some examples of good ones: "bestdeal", "discountdeal", "specialoffer"

- Once you're all signed up, click on "Marketplace" at the top of the page.

- Choose a category on the left-hand that interests you (under "categories").

- Where it says "sort results by:", click on "popularity" (which I believe is the default) and choose "gravity". Gravity is essentially how many people are promoting the product. Generally, the higher the gravity, the more in-demand the product will be. It can be an issue if the gravity is too high, because we don't want a lot of competition, but we're not going to care about that right now.

- Choose a product that sounds interesting to you. Click on the green "promote" button and enter in the nickname you created. After it has generated a link for you, copy and paste it into a word document and print it out.

*** - Now is the only difficult part. You need to go to the actual product page and gather information that you could actual use to pose as a customer. Have it be something that the visitor will see when they visit the sales page. Example: "I followed the three easy steps: A, then B, then C and saw results within a week just like they said! It's hard to express in words how grateful I am for this product." Gather enough information so that you'd be able to talk about it for 1-3 minutes (recommended time frame). Save this information to the word document that contains your affiliate link.

- You are now ready to make the video! You have a couple options here. One, you can use a webcam or a camcorder and record yourself just simply talking about the product. I'd have a hard time not looking like I'm reading straight from a script, so I choose the other option. That is capturing the screen of you scrolling through the sales page talking about how great the product is. To do this you can use Screen Hunter (free), Camtasia (if you own it), or Jing (free). These do have paid versions, but I don't see a reason for purchasing them.

- Once you have downloaded and setup the software you are ready to record your screen. Go to the product page that you are promoting. Click record on the software and scroll through the page, pointing out things they stated on their sales page that "actually came true!" This video does not have to be good quality. If you mess up, you can redo it. Or you can just leave it because it's perfectly fine if you mess up. Make sure to say "the link is in the description."

- Go to YouTube and create a new channel with the new Gmail account you created earlier. Name it something close to what you are promoting. If you are promoting a dog training series make your channel "DogTrainingSeries" or "HowToTrainDogs".

- Upload your video.

- Put up a relevant title, description, and keywords. Put the affiliate link you saved in the word document into your description.

- Put your video into Vagex and Viewet to see your views increase and your sales skyrocket. With this method, views are directly correlated with trust. The more views you have and the better rated your video is, the more viewers will trust your opinion.


*** Now you're wondering how to do this all without having any of the "needed" material. What you can do is stop after you complete the step marked by ***. What you have to do after is go over to Fiverr.com and type in "testimonial" into the search. This will bring up a huge list of people willing to give a video testimonial (usually only 30 seconds or a minute) or $5. You can pay them to read your script! Chose the person you like the best and wait a day or two for them to finish. Once they send you the video, upload it to YouTube and you're good to go (you still need to complete the last two steps of putting in the description etc and putting the video in Vagex and Viewet).

- Repeat for another product.


Added options: Just the video is good for now, though in the very near future we will look into putting up a blog for product. The blog can be made for free at blogger.com or can be hosted on your own domain if you'd rather it that way. This will increase the traffic to your affiliate link and increase sales. It's more work so we'll put it off to another day.



* Don't forget to continue to implement method 1! Implementing previous day's methods may be the most important part of this journey. Don't expect to be successful without doing so.
