This is a pretty black hat method for getting free articles to sell on sites such as content on demand etc.. or you could just use them on your own blog.


I have tried this method once but I felt pretty bad after it lol
The method –
Write up a job posting looking for article writers and post it on sites like gumtree & craigslist. You need to empathise that the articles must be 100% unique. In the post you should ask the job seekers to send a sample article which is around 500 – 1000 words in length. The people who apply will try to impress you by writing a quality article close to 1000 words in length.
Of course there is no job, this is just a way for you to get some free quality articles emailed to you lol. You could also tell your applicants to write an article on a specific niche if you wanted to post the articles on your own blog. Here is a sample job description


“My company is currently recruiting a number of part time / full time article writers. This is a work at home based job. You don’t need to be an experienced writer; however you will need to have good writing skills.
You will be writing articles for a network of blogs covering a wide range of niches. We don’t accept spun / copied or rewritten articles. Any writer found to be submitting articles will be banned from writing for us.
For part time writers we ask for a minimum of 3 unique articles per week of 750 – 1000 words.
For full time writers we ask for 10 plus articles per week of 750 + words.
We currently pay $18 per 750 – 1000 word article. Payments are made via paypal.
To apply please send an email to "your email here" telling us a little bit about yourself. We will also require you to write a sample article to show us your writing abilities. Your article should be at least 750 words and can be written on the subject of your choice. Please attach this article to your original email.
Due to a large number of requests only successful article writers will be contacted. “


I had this posted in 3 different city’s on craigslist and had around 40 replies but I felt bad about it and never used the method again lol

I think people misunderstand the word "blackhat" sometimes - usually it doesn't involve scamming article writers.

Don't do this please, article writers are the lifeblood of the SEO world they work hard for little money. These are the last people you should be trying to screw over.

I believe someone posted this here before and it seemed like most people did think this was taking advantage of those that are out of work and giving them hope that they would have a chance at a job only to fuck them in the end.

But yes this is a very unethical blackhat way of getting free articles.

I was an article writer for almost two years... I wrote 500 words articles for just $1. And I met so many aholes doing this shit. Its really sick man.. it was just $1 and they still tried to scam..

Its funny. This type of thread gets posted every 1-3 months. When Harro posted this method like 3 years ago everyone thanked him and called him a brilliant man. When anyone else posts it they are considered an A-hole.

saw this done at the marketing group i worked for,they'd bring potiential job recruits into the office,have them write an article on a niche and then tell them they'd contact them later

I didn't see that thread, but anyway I would say the same like i wrote here.

Used to work 3-4 years before. I have seen these kind of projects on Freelancer before. Some people even sold this method on DP and warrior forum 4 years back.

75% and more of the posts n this thread are identical to a thread from several weeks ago. not cool - the method and the post.

A more honest way to do this and still get mostly the same effect, is to offer it as a contest where only ONE person will win, and actually pay the person who submitted the best article for the work. Or actually hire the best writer, while keeping the free samples. Then the others at least will know they were risking their labor over a REAL possibility of being paid. End result, you have your 40 whatever free articles, and a clear conscience.

Contest idea is good, but still sketchy. Id be ok with paying all entrants half wage if they lost.

This is not Black Hat, this is how legit companies do business in my country, hire someone for testing or even test period (few months) than hire someone else when sucker is squeezed. Yeah, i know, i live in a shit-hole

Well method is really unique to scam the writers. But what is the guarantee that writer do not write same article for other persons. Because most of the writer sent their approved work.
