The Free Beta Code METHOD - Money Making

here is a method, that i have been using for 2 days now and have made around $76.45 with cpa.

so here is how it works

1.) find an upcoming game (i used halo 4)

2.) make an attractive LANDING PAGE related to your game like this

TRY TO MAKE IT MORE PROFESSIONAL OR HIRE A DESIGNER

3.) put a opt in form like i did in my LP (this way you build a list for long term)

4.) drive traffic to your LP through youtube, twitter, seo, facebook, forums, anything you want.

5.) once you start building a list, email your list a message like this

" Hello Thank You For Signing Up For A Free [GAME TITLE] Beta Code, To Get Your Free Beta Code Vist It This Link [your aff link]"

6.) The aff link i use is usually a page with a content locker, you can choose any montizenation method whether it be ppc or an affilate product.

so i make money short term with the content locker and long term with the list i built.

Great method. I did this for starcraft ii like 3-4 years back (before a release date was even on the table). I used an iframed e-mail submit but my page didn't look nearly as good as yours and it still converted like crazy (plus the game was so far off that "Starcraft ii beta" was super easy on G) and these days with content lockers where you can do incentive traffic it just makes it that much easier.

I'm curious, would this work with, lets say "%GAME% BETA LEAKED!" and instead of "get your beta key" do "get your download link"?

I didn't actually collect the mails, I was just using cakeslice to crop and iframe the e-mail field from a CPA e-mail submit so when they entered their e-mail it went to the CPA offer and I got $1 a pop for them. Of course there is a lot of covering your tracks and making sure you have a campaign going that is really converting with that offer and these are just added, etc. or you will not get paid for it

I like the idea of actually collecting the leads and doing it legitimately though as you're doing as I'm not anywhere near as black hat as I was back then.

Most likely. That is really the key too, take the bread and butter of this method and let it spark a little creativity for something slightly different; that's the best way to really succeed with methods you find on this forum IMO.

Hey,

I read your latest thread about the video game (Halo 4) method. I have a few questions...if you don't mind answering, that'd be awesome.

1. How do you actually make an LP? What programs do you use to make it?

2. What platform did you use to build your list of emails?

3. When they click your link to get to the locked page, what happens after the locker disappears? Do they actually get a legit code?

1.) I Use Photoshop, I know some of yous might be turned off by now but i assure you photoshop is the best for making LPs and if your unexperienced in Photoshop go watch some youtube tuts for it thats how i learned to make LPs On Photoshop.

2.) Aweber, too be honest i am pretty new to building lists so i may not know some questions on this.

3.) After they fill in an offer on the content locker, i redirect them to a youtube video probably a game trailer cause there is no way to get a beta code for the game.

Should redirect them to a related email submit after the content lock for extra revenue. There are a few halo 4 submits out there and usually are for every new gaming coming out.

Ahh, thanks, that clears things up!

And yeah, photoshop is prolly the best program to create layouts of LP's.

This is my setup and working order:
1. (Photoshop) Create the layout.
2. (Server) Create an FTP account.
3. (Notepad++) Setup the FTP connection and create the site.

Learned few days ago that Npp has an FTP plugin that automatically uploads the modified files to the server which speeds up the process considerably. Before I edited my files with Npp and uploaded them with WinSCP.

conversion rate really depends on the LP and sometimes after they fill in their email, i just redirect them to the content locker cause this way mailing is not required.

head over to some big gaming forums/sites, see what's going on and what are some big upcoming games, register an EMD with internet.bs (they don't care about DMCA's much) and get on #1 spot before even the beta is released. Boom!!!

BTW, the content locker you use is from the CPA network or are you using Some script to do that...
