For all you guys that DO enjoy the SEO side of things (like me), this is an awesome way to get fresh, relevant links back to your own sites. I'd imagine Google would like it when they see a new post or forum thread in your niche pop up and "link" back to your site.

this really works. I got my 1st money online using this method but I did not continue and do the rinse and repeat thing ( i was a noob too and at that time the phrase is not yet in my vocabulary). right now I am still wondering why I have stopped..

My 1st product was about world of warcraft. I even bought a wow account just to troll on the official forum

By the way a small tip: use a very short domain. the shorter the better. you will just have to write like:
"visit wowabs.com because they review a lot of wow guide"

If you will have a very long domain readers will not visit it. people are so lazy to type long domains!

Try typing that and tell me if you will not get lazy.

This is an alternative so that you wont leave a link and your post wont be deleted. Especially if you cant really post links!

I'm a noob to CPA and I believe this will be a perfect starting point for me. My only question is: What is the best way to put your link to the product in your review of it? Something as simple as putting where you got it from, then using your link?

I guess what I'm asking is how to most effectively make the readers want to click YOU'RE link?

Cant this be automated, like checking the alerts, and if its a forum, register and comment. If its a blog, put in a comment. That should work.

It's not really limited to anyone, it's just quite simple so anyone can get started with it.

ok so i read the thread no time for games i went and bought a new domain put 3 click bank products/reviews on it now its time to goto G alerts, total time invested so far 40mins, hopefully this will work out soon & ill let you know the results, thanks OP, oh yea do you think i should have more than 3 reviews??? how many reviewsproducts do you usually place on your websites OP???

3 is okay, but the more products you have the better. Just means you can set up more Alerts and potentially get more traffic.

That should be fine for a start - if you start seeing conversions then add as many as you can.

Rarely have more than 10 on my sites, but it depends on the niche. Some have more choices. For example, if you're doing ps3 game reviews - there will be a ton of games you can add and a ton of people searching for info about them.

Great method OP! It could also be used to drive some startup traffic to a new authority site.

This is excellent, over the weekend I am going to try a test, I figured out how to semi automate this...

Setup a Google alert, choose blogs only and have it go to a feed.

Then in your Google Reader account put the feed inside of a folder. Then go to Reader settings, go to the folders and tags tab and make that folder public.

Once you have done that you can grab the URL of the feed and put it into Scrapebox. Then use the link extractor to grab all the links so you don't have to copy and paste them.

The links will have to be manually edited though. The part in front of the URL will be a Google redirect soemthing like google.com/url=?dsjkhdjkl or whatever so we copy that and replace all with nothing.

The end of the URL will have unique gibberish so you have to manually delete that part.

Example:

weight-loss-center.com/guide-to-weight-loss.html?sdlfj3j023f308fsod

In this case you would obviously remove everything after the .html

This is very important because if you don't do this then the next part will not work.

Now take the URLs and comment on them using Scrapebox, use slow commenter with captcha solving for best results.

You don't have to use spun content for this, just change your comment up everyday.

This automated version should work in theory if you use enough keywords, this way you can grab hundreds of URLs a day to comment on.

I'll test it out this weekend and see if it works for sure.

Other thoughts on this:

- Find an awesome review somebody else wrote and rewrite it or borrow it for your own site
- Choose not to index the site if your using copied content
- Don't attach this to your adsense or analytics account
- Use who is privacy

If anybody can add on this that would be great.

I've worked on this method, no doubt its legit but the difficult part is setting up alerts.

I've had to setup 15+ alerts to keep alerts rolling in my gmail id.
All not all alerts have post a comment link, and most of them have post comment section closed or you need to register for it.

Anywork around ?

Ideally you're looking for blog posts or forum posts. Most other mediums you won't be able to post on.

Just keep setting up alerts. You could even sign up to the top 10 forums in the niche and search each day there - but that will be more work.

I think mine are daily actually - but I use this method in a slightly less aggressive way to drive traffic to my main business.

If you're just doing the review method, then the quicker you can reply the better (it's all about being first).

Good method to get traffic and better rank. I have a review site, when my site get traffic, it really makes money for me. But I am lazy to do seo, I just use Scrapebox. I need use Google alert and do some manual posts.

Depends where you post to be honest! Some will get no traffic at first, some will get loads then die down. Others will take a while to get traffic and then be steady. It really varies.

I'd wait until you've done at least 100 comments (approved) on forums (these are best) to see results. After a while you'll get an idea how much you make per visitor so can look to other traffic sources that might be easier and more scalable (paid etc.).

I don't usually respond to PMs, but as you've clearly taken action I'll get back to you in a little while.

I'd suggest to everyone to spend a bit of time building your site to make it look legitimate! It doesn't have to look professional (sites run by amateurs often convert much better), just look at it from the perspective of a fatty looking to lose weight - are they going to buy from a blog with no "story" or personality behind it? Spend a few hours making up a fake person, post some before and after pics. If you're doing games, post a pic of "you" with your new game. People like to be able to associate with the blogger - this builds trust. Trust = conversions

The extra work you put in initially will make a BIG difference to conversions.

I assume meathead123 is saying buy a domain which is based on a niche or product or genre you want to sell then use a site like clickbank to advertise a product which is based on the niche of your site and then spam forums/websites with info and advertising the product you want to sell?.

Test both as either can be effective and it depends on the niche.

I do have one question though. If I intended to develop a site like this into a reputed authority site with some organic traffic, how would I go about not infringing copyrights? Should that even be a concern? (I ask mainly because of AdSense, as it seems it's very easy to get yourself banned.)

Rep and Thanks added, your KISS (keep it simple stupid) method is reviving a review site I have had laying dormant in a very competitive field for 2 years plus. I gave up on it but your tips are so f'ing genius, its really all about the Google Alerts and being first.

So here is what I've got working right now. A site with 3 affiliate product reviews on one simple page basically a Good, Better, Best type page. Set up Google alerts for all 3 products plus a few other related products. I've set up a text file with somewhat lame comments that can be quickly copied and pasted, I'll work on better comments later, LOL.

Bottom line is like always your stuff works and as blackhat as this might seem I am actually delivering to the end user to the stuff they were looking for...

great method OP. Never thought Go0gle Alert could be useful. I can see good cpa potential in this. What I like most about your method is - it can't be saturated that easy. There are millions of blogs out there and not everyone will be getting alert / posting comments to the same one.
