Hey BHW,
Another one of MY methods I have decided to release, as I am moving on to bigger and better things. I have been using this method of selling FREE wix websites for a good 8 months and I have made coming up to £18,000 in that time, thanks to a script I built for this purpose.

Right, so you may have seen a recent post about someone selling wix sites, but having to upgrade to premium which can cost a bomb after the n'th client! What I did was to figure out a way to remove all wix ads, and post the website on separate domains, cutting out the $20/ monthly fees!

Lets get down to the method:

1. Sign up to wix, free account.
2. Play around with Wix until you feel comfortable with using the website. It's pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it.
3. Set up your own web design website, infact I was so confident, I used a wix template with my script! Worked like a charm.
4. I HIGHLY recommend getting "SitePoint - Web Design Business Kit v3" , as this will guide you through the process if you are unsure about how it all works.
5. To refine my process I used a client management software where I could deal with clients remotely and seemlessly. ( I will spoon feed you this...) Get ACTIVE COLLAB! Clients love to see the 'process' as it happens.
6. Ok Great, you're set up. Go find some clients who want flashy 'cool' websites. (No, I'm not going to spoon feed you )
7. I PDF'ed out lots of wix templates, styles and colours and so on, asked the clients to select the designs, and requested them to get all the text images and so on (known as the copy).
8. Get the client to pay what ever your terms want. MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM TO SIGN CONTRACTS. Why? 2 reasons. 1st, Clients love a structured process and it stops them from being dicks. 2nd, It will sort out future headaches, because you can say... "In the contract it says...."
9a. Spend 40mins to an hour designing the website. I love it how I only spent 5% of my time designing!
9b. Either PM for the script, or make up your own script for hiding ads, BTW, iframes suck.
10. update your client every other day through Active Collab, then after a week or so present him his website. Make it seem like the dogs bollocks!
11. Get them to pay the other half fo the fees.
12. upsell SEO and what ever you can just for the fuck of it! (I usually sell a £300 SEO contract and spend $15 on fiverr!) - Sometimes I managed to squeeze over £1,500 from EACH client for ONE WEEKS work.


TIPS AND TRICKS:

• I sell my sites from £250 for basic basic ones, up to £900 for bigger clients...
• The best clients are smaller businesses. But be creative, direct mail converts best for me
• As for the script, PM me if you're interested, but you can make your own script.
• I take a week to 10 days to complete each client, and have 2 or 3 clients on the go at the same time.
• GET UP AND DO IT!
• Theres a lot of GOOD tips and ticks I have used that I have decided to tell you guys cos BHW rocks.

Ok....

Finding Customers: (The spoon-fed method )

• Post ads on classified, there's TONS
• Post in your local job/newspapers (very effective!).
• Get paid ads in your local area.
• Ask friends or relatives (SERIOUSLY )
• Go on niche forums. For example: Car forums, a lot have small personal businesses.
• GOOGLE MAPS!!
• Post ads in local shops
• Scrape emails from craigslist or what ever

Ok, that should get you many many clients!

My script uses the free wix website but hides all the ads. that includes the footer ad, the pop-out side ad AND the loading bar. PM if you're interested.

DUDE! I thought of this method back in early 2010. I implemented it mid 2010 and really started to bank by jan 2011.... I did NOT rehash your method, i even posted on your method saying I had figured out how to remove the ads.

So the method is SIMILAR. Well actually, he built the sites first... and sold them on. USING PREMIUM!....

Whereas my method you get clients.. you take them through the web design process.. AND REMOVE THE ADS FROM WIX using a free account.

There was never a rehash. Stop both of your whining and appreciate that I have helped others gain inspiration.

Thank you. All I want is to share a GOOD method without anything missing so people can make some money. Shame that some users on BHW don't like it when another similar method is posted. Especially when I have spent weeks coding the script to remove hid ads for free.

There are members here who will read this, take action, and actually earn some money ... If he had not 'rehashed' in your terms (which he didn't), then these few individuals would never have come across HunWarriors thread and made the money they are making.

This forum is about sharing money making ideas, and the best way to make money is to take a method and twist it in your own way, which is exactly what the OP has done.

He was probably banned for selling out-with the BST section through P.M. etc. etc. without the necessary permission. That would be my guess if he was indeed trying to sell it for $150

Would you send me the script and thanks for the twist on the wix method. I read Hunn's first and your today and I like your better because it does not make me pay for premium and hides the ads prior to me doing all the work. Wix is a great site.
