How To Build From Scratch A $7,000/month Mailing List (Easy To Follow Guide)
I will be honest and say that the steps laid out in this guide are NOT going to make you any money, it's what you do with them that really counts. Look, even if you follow them to a 'T' you are not guaranteed a $7000 monthly earning, heck, not even a $100 monthly earning. Now I don't mean to put you off reading this because it could be the most useful thing you've read in your life and could yet prove to be your million dollar golden ticket.
Now I don't claim to be a genius of some sorts or possess the uncanny ability to make money out of thin air but what I do that I have that many other Internet Marketers famously fail to do is set targets and break things down into smaller goals so as to aid speedy and monitored progress.
Quick example (don't want to waste to much time) -> instead of looking at $7000/month. If you're currently at less than $500 why not set a target for hitting your first $500 month.
This vital if you are to have longevity in the internet marketing game. You are going to have to walk before you run and crawl before you walk. I cannot stress how important getting into this mindset is if you are planning to succeed. It is impossible for a restless mind like mine to push one idea for months if I don't break things down into immediately achievable steps.
If I had set my sights immediately for a $7000/month for my first month I would have bombed out and thought, "I could try my hands at something else, this isn't working like I want", after only making $400 in my first month. It's all about what you have your sights set on. SO before you read any further, ensure me you have NOT set your sights too high for your first real push.
Now lets get to the hardcore steps and make this work.
WHAT YOU NEED
Click here for the email marketing tool I am currently using - in other words it's what I recommend
(Also contains useful video guide on the service which I advise you watch)
The plan is to "Product Hijack" now this is not something you've probably ever come across in this sense. What you are going to do is target a HOT IM product, preferably a nicely packaged "Be all and end all" Clickbank or WSO product that are currently being advertised to death. You are going to feed directly off the interest in this product and make business by sucking in emails of interested buyers willing to splash cash on this product or something "better" or "more useful" or "that actually works".
Find a few HOT products currently baking in an oven of hype.
Use the Gravity feature on CB but be careful not to try something too big.
Gravity above 600 can be a goldmine but can equally be a dead end.
Create your squeeze & drive-thru material, this should work on two levels.
LEVEL ONE - The Drive-Thru
This should give a positive or negative review of the HOT product. The important thing here is to be as realistic and REAL as possible. Make everything seem straight from experience of using the product. For this you will find use in reading as many reviews of the product as possible. Take this seriously, it's the backbone of the method.
The drive thru can be a YouTube video, article, blog post/comment, forum post... and so much more that spring to mind.
You must now make it clear that a better product exists that you recommend they check out. Be natural, of course, don't just drop it in. Work your way up to it.
Instead of saying, "Now check out...". say, "However where this *HOT product name* lacks, *YOUR product name* delivers by... i find that after reading(*or watching*) for 30 minutes I already had a plan worked out to make my first few paychecks. "
LEVEL TWO - The conversion/squeeze
This should be a webpage for the "better" product (your product) you now explain how it works so well and fill it with realistic claims and mumbo jargon, or the truth, whichever works best for you. I find that a blend of the two works best for conversions. Now for what makes this work 99.99% of the time -> Announce that the product is free for a limited period if they sign up to your awesome mailing list.
Let them know that you will pop in a few high value other extras along the way so they should stay tuned to your mailings.
I trust that you can sort that out. There are countless numbers of PLR packages floating around waiting to be rejuvenated, re-branded and given a new life.
Alternatively look to Fiverr or Minuteworkers for content creators who are willing to do the work for you - for a price of course.
If you want to make more money, put more thought into the packaging and overall perception of your product. It must make the buyer feel that whatever price they pay for it, even if they get it free, that they have heavily underpaid and not the contrary.
What usually happens is you will get a lot of subscribers who using the email marketing service with auto responder I recommended in STEP 1, you would send the free goodies to.
The important thing to take note of is that you do not try to make money off of your list until you reach your first milestone. Mine was at 500. Once I reached that I did a small mailing and made a few bucks. I stayed focused and was able to grow slowly.
Soon enough I would reach 1000 subscribers and see my earnings more than double as I got better at gaining hungry money splashing subscribers.
Just keep working at it and depending on the price range of products you offer and the number of subscribers you will soon be pulling in the larger bucks monthly.
Focus on growing before earning. The real money is to be made in larger lists of subscribers who get products which seem to be quality from you. They soon trust you enough to buy on impulse expecting that they will learn something new. If you keep bringing something fresh to the table interest will remain.
